I like the interface and the have security deposits, cleaning, smart locks, client statement etc are all integrated within Uplisting without having to connect 3rd party apps.

To make matters worse, the support team is slow (taking hours or days to respond) and often copies and pastes the same generic responses without addressing the actual problem, while the tech team feels completely non-existent.

The calendar is glitchy, requires constant manual refreshes, and has poor visibility options.

Incorrect amenity icons and unlocalized spelling on the booking site.

Payment processing can do better specially the verifying of identity, this should come default and not extra feature that you need to pay.

It cuts out the need to switch between different platforms and keeps everything in one place, which makes managing the business far easier.

You need to contact support for both of those. If you want to edit the site you'll need a link that you can only get from support even though it belongs on the direct booking site page.

The software is incredibly unstable, and the support structure is highly ineffective.

Then your request sits on their desk for hours or days. AND to make it worse, they have no after-hours agents so if you are working on your website at 8pm EST on Tuesday and you just need that TXT file....

Limited functionality to setup custom notifications.

No option to integrate multiple companies and billing methods

There are frequent outages that they won't even be bothered to update you through email about it.

Stripe does not allow for free cancellations for guests so this is something you can't offer to your guests when booking direct. When you compare this to other providers, it's better to pick the bigger providers as they offer built in accounting, detailed owners' dashboard, professional website direct booking website builder/website.

The value is good for paying monthly subscription for 5 properties.

Includes deposit protection (pre-authorisation) with Stripe so don't have to manage damage deposits any more.  Can ask guests for ID verification - also very helpful.

CS agents are friendly and helpful, but limited availability and seem to not have centralized ticket management.

That is really a downer for me is the customer service can do a lot more better.  

User interface was not the easiest aspect of this tool.  

The tool was easier to use as I got familiar with all the nuances.

So they keep coming up with new features but even for those who have been with uplisting since the beginning, they want to nickel and dime you for what they consider an "upgrade" which compared to other providers is just standard offerings.

The price is the biggest con for me.   With only one listing $100 / month is on the more expensive side, but I can add up to 5 properties for that price, so as I grow, it will become more economical.

Data doesnt pull correctly, VRBO wont link with account, had multiple accounts of the help bots and people not understanding whats being said.

So you'll go to email and respond to an email of the chat.

very dangerous functionality, in calendar, it may close all your rooms  if you move a guest from ine room to another. And in the company nobody cares of anything.  

People in the team cant get full access despite being given full access meaning they can only see the calander not the whole screen as the owner

It took too long to get help when I had issues.

Integration with VRBO has limitations which affect the completeness of VRBO listings.

Uplisiting is indispensable for me, organizing all bookings and automating messages.

I researched dozens of property management systems in depth and UPLISTING had all the features that were important to me.

Lastly, they have a roadmap available to all users that explains what they are currently working on in terms of improvements, enhancements, etc as well as what is on deck and also what is being considered.

I love that it tasks my cleaning team automatically, and further that I can automate my messaging to the guests ensuring a much richer conversational experience for them.  

Most times the answer they give is either a link to a page I have already read or so vague is of little value.

The app is still very basic, so you often need to switch to the web version for some tasks.

There is no mobile app and that sucks. When managing multiple properties you  need to have access to the software at all times, even when  you are not in front of a computer.

Haven't had as many direct bookings through their web platform/portal as would have hoped.

It has nothing and makes it critical that you use the laptop.

The complexity of keeping track of which features are integrated with which channels, is a pain. Although this is not Uplisting's fault- it is really due to the limitations of the channels.

we like that almost everything can be shown in the one place

Thankfully it is easy to use because Customer Service is a bit lacking.

Not a con really, but I haven't made the time to work through all the features.

Uplisting is a hospitality management tool that makes our business perform operationally with ease, I particularly like how progressive the company is and how they listen to their clients and update the platform accordingly.

I also like the website link where your housekeeper can check all the future cleanings in one big list.

This is a cheap channel manager, but it’s full of bugs and entirely useless.

The price used to be competitive before the 2023 price hike.

This is the worst channel manager I have ever worked with.
