I am typing this review while I sit on hold (for an hour and a half according to what I was just told will be my addl hold time) because I was supposed to have access to my reports in my  account that I closed through april 1 of this year.

My enthusiasm for using SurePayroll can be summed up in 3 words: Ease of Use. Whether you are paying Salaried employees, or Hourly -SurePayroll can work with your needs!

I have to say for all my years running payroll, the part I like *least* has to be adding a new state to your payroll.

Well in payroll everything is done quarterly and we can fill out our own W2's (use the IRS form publicly available).

Their promises to pay rewards for referrals and never follow through. When I contact anyone; I always get the answer "not my dept"

I spent two hours on the phone trying to cancel, was forwarded to different departments, was dropped into the receptionists office, and it took me threatening legal action to get our cancellation done.

The platform is user-friendly, with a straightforward interface that allows users to run payroll quickly, often in just a couple of minutes.

They seem ok for large companies that have dedicated staff to handle payroll. But their customer service is absolutely awful, and the support is often non-existent.

SurePayroll is a solid option for small businesses or households looking for an affordable, easy-to-use payroll solution, but it may fall short in terms of customer service and flexibility​

Low upfront rate or promo. If you refer or get a referral you can make a few $100s.

The process was pretty easy and I worked closely with staff to insure accuracy.

The website for the system is a bit complicated to navigate.

Their software is for the most part very intuitive, and reasonably priced.

It was easy to set up and use, especially without prior experience in running payroll.

There are also several fees and add-ons they try to charge you.

I first started with Sure Payroll as a new client was looking for an inexpensive payroll for her one person payroll.   When we set her up and ran payroll once a month it was a breeze!

At least 50% of our clients were unable to sign in to their own account, so we had to go in for them anytime a change or report was needed.

Not sure it will scale as I grow. If I had a large number of employees, I will need to automate timecard entry, and I'm not sure how that looks in Sure Payroll.

It does not function much beyond the basics.

The location of some of the reporting on the webpage took a little bit to figure out and I still have to go searching a bit.

They do EVERYTHING within their power to prevent you from canceling, including disabling the ability to cancel from within your account, refusing to return your calls and emails, hanging up on you, transferring you to a deadline, and requiring you to jump through countless hoops.

The cancellation process is not easy and there are no emails about subscription billing to let me know that I was still paying.

The only con is sometimes the website is hard to navigate if you have a question or problem to resolve.  

As long as you don't have an issue the company is pretty decent.
