To accept or deny certain days or the full time card, I can quickly check how many hours my staff have worked. It was Paycom's mobile app that swayed our non-profit organization to switch to the service.
It's a pleasure to use the job application form and module. Having the ability to see who has applied and when, as well as immediately clicking on their CV and cover letter, is a huge convenience for me as a hiring manager. Easy and time-saving: this makes the procedure very straightforward. Time card administration is also fairly straightforward.
ADP, for example, offers a variety of discounts and "coupons" in conjunction with their service. I can save money on hotels, vehicle rentals, and dining out by taking advantage of various discounts and advantages.

I have used Paychex for smaller companies and really like it. ADP would be the primary competition for Paycom and their customer service is horrible. I would never recommend ADP.
The customer service is very friendly and the company is very organized and customer focused.
I have had many customer service rep. changes in the the past 7 years. I would love to have a more stable customer service rep.

Paycom has been reliable so theres that going for it, but its advanced features are lackluster. I wish i can see the time off for my coworkers so that i know who not to expect in the office but that easy feature appeara to be missing.

I think it is decent, and I like it more than ADP.
I like how everything is laid out in a very visually pleasing, user-friendly way. Navigating through the platform is easy.
I do not like that management is the only ones who can contact tech support, and that past files can not be accessed and edited/updated.

We greatly appreciate the Paycom system and all that it has done for us that our previous systems were unable to achieve.
Time off management is different from ADP which we used before. Our employees are still confused.

Paycom has all the same benefits that the big names like ADP have for a better price.
PTO accruals and usage is somewhat confusing.

Reporting could be better, but outside that it's a great product especially if you have techy Employees.

At first, Paycom seems like a viable alternative. The support team was MUCH better than anything you'll get from ADP.
We had to abandon this because of differential shifts. Meaning we have a 3rd shift that starts at 10pm Sunday night and clocks out at 6am Monday morning. Paycom couldn't handle the date change and ended up reflecting as two work days.

Our Paycom rep was always there when we had questions. The transition from ADP to Paycom was easy and smooth.
Easy to use and great customer service. We are only good as our teacher and we had a great teacher named [SENSITIVE CONTENT] from Paycom.
The quality and features are great. It's difficult to think of anything negative about the product.

The system is fairly quick to be updated. They release new updates on a quarterly, if not monthly, basis. Way better than ADP.
Paycom can be a little behind the times on the updates and features you see in other HRIS products. The built-in ATS integration wasn't good for us.

I love having a dedicated person for my account. When I was with ADP, the customer service was really poor and always frustrating.

Overall i had no problem with Paycom, it was just the system we used daily for clocking in and out, as well as editing time cards, and checking pay stubs
I enjoyed using Paycom for the short time my company used it, before switching back to ADP. It was easy to use, navigate, and teach.
Some companies offer different types of discounts, and "coupons" with their service like ADP. I can get cheaper hotels, rental cars, discounts at restaurants all different types of perks.

Paycom is definitely a better option than we had when we used ADP, more intuitive and much easier to navigate and much less manual processes.
Still a little clunky. I’m not a fan of the ATS they provide and would rather use something else.

I have used many payroll systems, from ADP to UKG and Paycom has been my favorite by far! The ease of use of the system, the amount of things you can, the customer service support...everything has been amazing so far which is why it tops the list as one of the best payroll platforms!
There is so much to love about Paycom. The system is very easy to use, while being robust in the things that it can do! The reporting, the Time and Attendance integration, the data set/payroll creation is very easy as well! Gives both someone with a lot of payroll software knowledge, as well as a beginner, a great chance to succeed!
There is no con that I can think of right now...the system is great and works very well!

We have a fairly mobile workforce, so having the Employee Self-Service and Manager on the Go platforms is important. Our employees have ease of use, so they are able to get their payroll information on their phones or tablets. It is easy to set them up - and reset their passwords when they forget them. One feature that I like is the single sign-in for all functions - as other payroll systems have had separate log-ins for time and attendance versus payroll.
The functions of Paycom mirror other HRIS solutions. We primarily use it for payroll as well as time and attendance, but we are expanding to incorporate other aspects of the platform. The distinguishing factor for Paycom versus other solutions I have used is their service. When I have a question, our dedicated Service Representative is extremely quick to respond (within an hour). If she is not the appropriate person to answer the question, she facilitates the introduction rather than simply telling me to call someone else.
I haven't had any negative experiences with this software. The platform operates similar to other platforms that I have used, including ADP and Paychex.

I loved how i could call their customer service line and get an agent within 1-2 minutes. I used to have to wait 40+ minutes with ADP.
They do not keep us compliant. When we need a new earning/deduction set up they ask us to fill out paperwork regarding how it should be taxed. I am not a tax expert and do not have that information. I hoped i could tell Paycom what i want and they would be able to set that up for us, but this is not the case.

We have been with Paycom for three years and the money I have spent with them has, many times, felt like I am being taken advantage of. If anyone wonders why we still use them, it is not easy changing payroll companies for a 300 person firm. I am sure their intentions are good, their product is not bad but their handling of problems is atrocious. It is unbelievably frustrating and 2019 is the year we start with someone else. There are a lot of good people there and a lot of poor management. Maybe they should take some of the little guys and move them up the ladder.
The time it took to convert from ADP to Paycom was good, but not high quality. Daily tech support was very good but levels above that began to go downhill.quickly.
Just about everything. Promises were made in the beginning and some of them were, literally, just lies. These empty promises were just completely ignored. Initial implementation was riddled with problems and very little support from tech side. Follow-up issues were addressed with "I promise to make sure everything is resolved". I heard this from a number of higher level people and never heard...

I have only been using Paycom for a couple months at my new job, but it certainly seems better than the ADP system I was in before.
I like how easy it is to find and verify my own employment/benefit/pay information, and the org chart has been super useful as a new employee at my current company.
It would be nice if you could hide sections that aren't relevant to you (i.e. time management as a salaried employee).

I have used Paycom in three different companies (replaced ADP with Paycom) and it was like night and day! The Sales team is fantastic and the Implementation team second to none!
The functionality, how user-friendly it is and the fact that it is cloud based. Their Customer Service is the best! One of the customer rep. was amazing during implementation!! She was available 24/7!
They only CON I see is perhaps they Need to work a bit on the Performance management system. Other than that, I don't see any cons.

As a small non profit new to using Paycom for payroll, this software is forgiving of mistakes and allows for corrections to be made. Technical support is a phone call away and is readily available to walk us through any questions we have.
Paycom offers so many services that are not utilized by our small non profit. The vast options available online took a little time to sift through but after a few cycles with great technical support, payroll takes very little time to run.

I am able to run my business more efficiently with the ability to access from any location and make updates from anywhere.
I like the ease in transitioning from client to employee as well as the ease of performance reviews. It also has many tools for reporting functions.
It wasn't the easiest to learn how to run reports by employee or seeing a year at a glance vs a month. It would be useful to have the ability to delete or hide unused fields so I could better go directly to what I need.

Overall, we are very pleased with Paycom's software and support services. Although ADP is more of the "household name" in the Payroll and timekeeping software space, and is slightly less expensive, Paycom seemed to be the better option.
Our employees like using AND as the business owner, I like the self-service nature of the software tools, especially timekeeping and punch edits.
On the administrator end, there needs to be more standardized reporting options. Also, from a user experience, too many click throughs are needed to accomplish a simple task or retrieve data. For example minimum of 4 click throughs just to retrieve an employee's contact info.
