Our district switched to standards based grading and we were able to make a customized gradebook with proficiency scales for standards in schoology.  

Additionally, the site doesn't allow you to remove parents associated with students and delete those accounts once you no longer want to check their grades.

The LockDown Browser enabled secure testing within the app.

Additionally, it allows users to single sign on with their school Gmail account, which reduces the need for passwords.

One of Schoology's best features is that you can import assignments through Blackbook.

There was space for learning material, but from my time in using it there wasn't any space for overly interactive learning activities.

I have a desire for more advanced reporting features that provide deeper insights into student performance, engagement, or progress. While Schoology offers basic reporting options, I may find them insufficient for their specific data analysis needs.

I was satisfied with the small amount of time I used Schoology as it was predominantly just used for a space for the student to have learning material.

Overall, it is a good experience. While there is a small learning curve, it is easy enough to navigate and find what you need quickly and efficiently.

Limited reporting and analytics: I have mentioned that Schoology's reporting and analytics capabilities could be more robust.

The interface is quite friendly for both teachers and students (both web app and mobile). Yet behind this deceivingly simple interface lies a powerful set of tools flexible enough to cover most schools needs.

The add-ons and additional connected apps can be glitchy.
