Rippling > Workday
My favorite part about Rippling is that it's not workday. God I hate Workday.
Not too many negative things to say here. UI is pretty intuitive. It's easy to see what's going on and what actions are required of you. Clear notifications when I get paid. Workday has none of those things.

Much better than Workday!!
The ease of use is what I like the most. Rippling makes it easy to find what I'm looking for quickly.
I wish there was more integration with insurance providers instead of having to use their sites

It centralizes and streamlines a lot in the HCM space for us as a company.
Everything has been great so far, there is nothing I would change.

Great so far.
They thought out almost all parts of HCM functionality and put them together in a beautiful platform.
You still need to train yourself a little bit to navigate efficiently and effectively. I have seen UX design that is a little easier to use.

This product is very user-friendly. The interface is modern, which is a nice touch when many HCM systems are downright sad to look at.
Where do I begin? There are myriad compliance issues throughout. Every time we run our bi-weekly payroll, we end up having to contact support due to something that should have been integrated, bugs, or general lack of ease of use for administrators. We deal with both contractors and employees, and though they accommodated us at first, we feel that the support has wained greatly throughout the years. Communication is a major issue with their support team, and the fact that they have no carrier connections for benefits administration is a major downside, but at least it's one your should know about before you sign on.

The GUI is much easier than other software packages I have used like Workday and Zenefits.
None yet, seems very easy to use and I could intuitively find and use the features I need

It's hands-down the easiest HR/Elections/Payroll platform I've ever used. Way better than Workday.
It's simple and intuitive. Rippling actually makes me want to do Elections/Payroll/HR stuff on time because I don't feel like I'm going to get lost when I go to the browser/App. Whoever designed the process flow of the site should be promoted immediately.
So far I have found nothing to complain about.

We just completed Open Enrollment at our company. Using Ripplings I was able to do this within a few minutes, with a better understanding of pricing/cost and plan coverages than I've ever had. I also have 100% access to my payroll/compensation in the click of a button and I understand it better than I ever have before.
Not much not to like. It is clean, robust, and easier than my experience using Workday and ADP.

The UX is beautiful and it's a huge improvement over Workday. I like how it's easy to do common HR tasks, like take PTO or view the org chart.
The platform feels noticeably slow at times. Sometimes it's confusing when data is not displayed in a native format (for example, for getting health insurance, you have to manually click into the PDFs for each plan and compare them instead of having a detailed side-by-side view on the webpage for what each plan offers).

It's easy to use and navigate it around. It has nice features like being able to set up multiple bank accounts for direct deposit. It's much simpler than dinosaur tools like Workday
When I wanted to contact support, it just said to contact my HR admin. Would be nice if there was centralized support for the users of the software too and not just the admin.

Ease of user / user experience. Love how easy it is to manage and edit my benefits. Onboarding was a breeze. I prefer Rippling much more to what I used in my last role (Workday).
Still use 1-2 websites for my needs outside of Rippling, so I hope we can consolidate everything remaining into Rippling!

Super easy to use and love that everything is user friendly. I've used Workday and Breezy before and this is the easiest platform in my opinion. Also love how I get an email every payday!
There isn't anything I don't like - super easy to use and UX makes a ton of sense.

Overall, I can say that Rippling is the easiest to use and most proficient.
I am a daily user and I definitely like that this software is so easy to use. I have used other Time keeping and Payroll software like WorkDay and I can truly say that this is the easiest.
I don't believe I have anything negative to say about this software. I did encounter a small issue with requesting PTO on a national holiday that our company does not acknowledge. So, the system did not allow me to submit a day off on MLK day since it was already a national holiday. My HR manager had to document it manually.

Overall it is a great HCM for the price. It offers features that some more advanced and more expensive tools do not offer. More importantly their support team is top notch and are very responsive. And they are always learning and adding new features and integrations.
What I like most: ease of use. I came into my new position without any experience with Rippling and I was able to figure out reporting and many of the basic functions very quickly. There are a lot of integrations with other tools to help fill in the gaps of Rippling which is great.
It's not fully integrated with some of its partners -meaning it is integrated but not everything flows back and forth between the systems. For example, Lever is integrated but not every component of an offer flows from Lever to Ripping making some of it automated and some of it still manual. In addition, not everything is fully ready in Rippling such as their LMS. There is not a content design tool which means you must design training outside of Rippling and upload a SCORN file.

I use rippling mostly to request PTO and to go over payroll and benefits. The way Rippling is categorized and set up makes it extremely easy to quickly access this information that I am looking for so I am not wasting any time in my workday searching for this information!
Rippling is extremely user-friendly and easy to navigate around. Everything is well categorized and the information is easily available.
I haven't found anything that I haven't liked so far!

With Rippling, we spend so much less time fixing problems than we used to with the big payroll providers. The system natively and easily integrates with G Suite, Expensify, health insurance, worker's comp, and a variety of other services. This allows us to focus on building the business rather than payroll and HR.
This is, by far, the easiest and most intuitive payroll and HR software that I've used. Doing the initial setup took a mere 3 hours compared to literally months of setup time for ADP Workforce Now or Ceridian Dayforce HCM. Rippling does what they say they're going to do and they seem to do it very well. Direct deposits have been making it successfully into accounts so far!!!
I'm not a big fan of team-based email support, but that's pretty much the only option they provide. While I don't feel they're leading me astray, I also don't feel like they intimately know the needs of my company. I'm also a little concerned about the longevity of a company that is probably running off of venture capital, but it is a risk I am very willing to take to not have the frustration of one of the big payroll companies, who have software that is difficult to use and often screwed up payroll runs.

I have used Rippling with two separate companies at this point. Managing small businesses with a system as simple and nibble as Rippling has been an incredible asset. This is not the system for people that are staring down WorkDay with an HRIS team in house. Rather this is the cost effective way of those small to medium sized companies to get something that is enterprise worthy that can grow with you.
- Ease of use - Implementation can be done in a day - Really nibble - Quite a long list of 3rd party apps that play very well with the system
- Lacks some flexibility that larger enterprise solutions have (not for huge companies yet)
