The structure is intuïtive, solid and runs smoothly which is very important for multicenter research. It helped me significantly in my work as project manager of an international multicenter RCT.

I enjoyed the great level of control when building forms, and even managed to do some coding - and to test that code to make sure it really worked.

The randomization is only in blocks and there is no other options for randomization which is a little problematic with a small group trials.

For advanced users, there is no accessibility to more powerfull programming to manipulate the platform. The image/file upload feature is very restricted in file size.

Some building blocks are a bit limited in how they can be used. For example, some can't be set as "required", so one has to create additional fields to achieve the same result.

Overall the system is good, it does it's job and worth the cost. I think simplifying the building proccess and making repeated measures display a bit more informative would be better.

There are still a few features that some of the largest (i.e. most expensive) systems have that Medrio is missing, such as a very robust targeted SDV / Risk Based Monitoring module.

Medrio does lack a number of key 'modules' and some of the modules it does have cannot handle more complex studies.

Once your first study is built, it is very easy to copy and paste all your set functionality for your next study. Their support team is also top notch.
