What is Katmai?
Katmai, the monitoring platform collects data from sensors, measuring devices and controllers independently of manufacturers. Standard industry protocols such as M-Bus, Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA and some proprietary protocols are supported as interfaces. Data from devices is transmitted by cable or by radio. Real-time visualisation, analyses and key figures provide deep insight and create transparency with regard to resource consumption and the health status of machines and plants.
Costs and carbon footprint are calculated for resource usage. Use the recorded data to support management systems such as quality, energy, risk and/or continuity through key figures with resilient data. Other features include task scheduling, notifications based on events or limit violations, and the ability to transfer data to controllers. With distribution lists, you can reach the responsible employees or external service providers in order to initiate maintenance work.
