We had to abandon backing up Sharepoint and Teams because their licensing model charges you for ALL Entra users regardless if they are actual sharepoint users or not unless you modify the sharepoint permissions which is very cumbersome and 1 user at a time.

I did not like one feature which is that there is no way to get more detailed information on the backup success of the system on the historical data available within the console.

I am a big fan of the insights the dashboard gives, so I know immediately when there are any issues I have to address.

The only area I wish was a bit stronger is disaster recovery—while Cove offers options for standby images, it’s not as seamless as some DR-specific solutions.

We had a server crash once, and it was a VM machine; we had to build the Hyper V environment to restore the server.

I have never really had any major issues with cove, and when I do have issues it is very easy to get with a support technician and they are knowledgeable about fixing any issues with their product.

No easy way to migrate historical backups/data from an old device, to a new device replacing it, without going through a bit of a process before making Cove active on the new server

It was very nice not having to manually update each endpoint since we have so many.

There are a few features that are not intuitive, such as the backup to a secondary device and the restore to another folder.
