Sentinel by ePaper is a web-based modular print management solution that can be customized to meet the printing, scanning, and copying needs of any organization, from small business to large enterprise. The system includes pull printing, rule-based printing, print reporting, print quota management, and more, and is compatible with all leading multi-function printers.
With Sentinel, users can centralize all print management for their organization without sacrificing the security of print jobs. All print queues and jobs can be overseen and controlled from a single print server, and administrators can manage printing activity, individual printing permissions, per-user print quotas, departmental printer usage, and billing for print jobs. Automated alerts notify users of problems as they arise, including toner status errors, and built-in reports are delivered automatically via email. Users can also generate a variety of reports through the report designer, with the ability to filter by date, time range, job status, printer, user groups, specific user, and much more.
Sentinel supports secure pull printing, ensuring the security of documents by only printing jobs when users identify themselves at the printer to release the job. Pull printing can also reduce wastage of paper, toner, and ink as any jobs sent in error or left unreleased can be deleted from the print queue. Administrators can also enable rule-based printing using custom scripts to define event-triggered rules or workflows. Sentinel also supports guest printing, secure document scanning, multi-site printing, mail-to-print, and more.
