Using this to toy around with future retail business. Seems to be one of the handful of go-to sites for web stores. Especially ones that offer sales, especially pick-up or curbside.
Easy to use and create and online website and store. Has functions to tie in Square and payment systems.
A little challenging if not tech savy. Need to have a general idea of payment systems, webpage functions, and graphic terminology.

Overall, WEEBLY has been a lifesaver for us. The customer support has been really helpful, and usually solved our issues immediately. Our business will probably include online ordering through WEEBLY even after things settle down. It has helped streamline a lot of larger orders and helped create a more sustainable version of what we do.
We have grown VERY familiar with WEEBLY since the COVID-19 pandemic began. We use Square POS for our coffee shop, and WEEBLY is directly integrated with the online side of Square. We were very early adopters of WEEBLY, and initially had to sort of hack many of the features to make it do what we wanted to. WEEBLY has made accepting online orders - which was previously a very daunting idea - very easy. WEEBLY integrated perfectly with our Square system, and allowed us to use our current item library from Square for an easy online ordering system. It prints to paper printers our iPad digital printers, and helped streamline online orders at a crucial time in our business, where most of our sales were going through WEEBLY.
Sometimes WEEBLY will freeze up and create a spinning circle during checkout. This has created some issues for customers trying to order from us but end up giving up after waiting 15 minutes for it to load. It has gotten better as more people have adopted it during the COVID-19 pandemic. One more problem! If you decide to add items INSIDE Weebly instead of Square, it won't add any of the default taxes. We've sold items for weeks without charging tax and didn't notice until later. Just keep an eye out for that when creating items inside the Weebly back end.

Excellent experience with Weebly, running a business online and implementing e-commerce has never been easier. They are together with Square, which is a fantastic company with a lot of potential going forward. Weebly along with Square exemplify what the future of online business can do for us, and what individuals can do for themselves.
Weebly is a great alternative to traditional blogging software and provides a modern edge and entrepreneurial appeal to users who demand more than just a place to write. I like the ability to integrate e-commerce into the site and create stores.
Monthly fees are calculated upon payment of annual pricing packages, just a disclaimer. This can seem a little misleading at first, and perhaps think about how serious you are about using their products before paying for them. There is a free, 'basic use' option to experiment with.

Helps to boost the keyword ranking from an SEO point of view as it has a great drag-and-drop facility with various features and functionality to manage the website. Easy to have a backup with unlimited storage space and pages as well. Integration works smoothly
Safe and secure platform with free SSL certificate, as for the ecommerce website payment method is very easy because of integration with Square Online. Even, have e-commerce themes that are already optimized for SEO and all marketing needs including shopping cart, item options, inventory management, in-store pickup, coupons, Square gift cards and much more.
Unable to install any software, more design options can added moreover there is poor optimization for mobile user.

I used Weebly for my online apparel business, and had switched to Weebly from Etsy. The experience has been great and I am still on Weebly’s monthly plan.
Weebly has been great for setting up an online shop in combination with my Square payments account and my website domain I purchased for cheap outside of Weebly. Weebly has a great monthly price plan that doesn’t break the bank for me and it comes with everything I need including domain transfer, easy online shopping set-up, store personalization, etc. I was able to easily hook-up my Weebly shop with Square which has low processing fees and instant deposits & transfers. I definitely suggest using Weebly with Square as they both compliment each other and both offer features that go hand-in-hand and make purchasing, shipping, bookkeeping, invoicing, etc. go by smoothly.
I didn’t have any cons. It did take me a little while to understand how to link my domain but that was due to my own fault.

I am happy with the over all experience...I do like having Square for my one stop e commerce needs. I also use Square devices, and like how it all works together.
already being a Square customer for years, I decided to try out the e store. The website and store are pretty simple to use, and offer square customers free basic website.
So far, I haven't had any issues, and I am still learning the program. I would like to see Weebly more integrated with Square and website for easier use when adding new products.

unfortunately I don't really have much good to say. I looked at sites made before the Weebly-square integration and they look really coo! I was excited to make my own site for free just to find that you can't. Weebly is like gone.
You can't really do anything since Square took over. Can't sign up for Weebly, it just wanted me to sign up for Square. Couldn't find out how to edit a site. I couldn't even get a nice short Weebly domain, only Square crap. I can't even check the domain name now , it won't load. I don't even see how it's Weebly at this point, it's just Square.

Ease of creation and then selecting administrators to manage specific sections

Weebly is an easy and predicable $300m plug in for Square. Just plug and plan until you get bored or go out of business.
After the $300m purchase of Weebly by Square, I was so excited. Having been an initial beta tester of Square, I immediately saw the potential of eCommerce if a robust and flexible platform could be developed and implemented. While I am not privy to the sale negotiations of Weebly, I have often wonder why Weebly was chosen. Is it Weebly or is it Square? The lack of clarity shows in the manner in which the program has been implemented at Square. What I like about Weebly is that it is still Weebly. Square has opted not to influence the Weebly platform so it is easy to use if you are familiar with its capabilities. Weebly is a humongous plug in for Square. If you understand this Weebly is a piece of cake to use as part of Square as it is only an extension.
I am disappointed that none of the genius of Square can be found in the Weebly by Square. It is like Weebly moved into the house as a foster child and Square has no desire to adopt. That is ok for some, but Weebly could grow up to be an amazing program in the lineup of platforms. Sadly its adolescence is endless in its current custodial care.

Designing a free tier website with Weebly was a simple process. You are required to sign up for a Square account as they are a Square product, which also means purchases will go through Square. That said, it was nice to be able to setup a website with free SSL encryption and SEO offerings without having to pay anything.
Weebly offers users a very attractive tier pricing model. Users can choose between several payment tiers with differing levels of features at each tier. Starting from free, users can scale their commitment with their business needs which makes Weebly a very good option for small businesses. Even at the free tier, Weebly offers SEO and SSL options as well as shopping carts and unlimited items, which is very generous.
Weebly's website builder is not as sophisticated as its competitors. Users will have to put in more effort into precisely creating their website layout using Weebly.

From the trial that I messed around with, I enjoyed it. I want to give this a bigger shot when my Wix subscription ends and I can have greater access to certain perks with the plans Weebly offers.
What I like the most is probably that it's tied to Square, which eases the eCommerce end of web hosting. As opposed to competitors like SquareSpace and Wix, they facilitate hosting an online shop with an app that mamny people are already very familiar with and trust.
Some templates have really weird code built into it that it can make custom website building difficult. While dragging around text and images is a great perk, I've heard that some templates end up having jumbled code that may be tricky to resolve later if you don't type notes into the code. On top of that, the website may run slower if the code isn't so efficient, affecting the traffic coming into the site.

We post small inexpensive art and it works fine but that is because it is connected to our square store. cannot imagine what this would be like to use without Square with which I am more familiar.
Square forced us to switch to this site instead of what they had before. it is fine, but it's super hard to find what you're looking for quickly. It's good to handle a lot of things for sale but has features that are hard to figure out how to turn off.
The confusing tabs on the left are super hard to navigate. Its hard to figure out how to add a new item and change the status of it to look like this item is unique and we did not make 10 of it, there is just one. I had to call support about this and they helped me fairly quickly however, so points for them there.

When I have a problem with Square, I have to go through Weebly to get it figured out & often Weebly refers me back to square. The good news is, that they have an excellent tech support system that can fix it from their end, it just takes a few days.

If you're looking for a platform where you can make your own vision of a website, then this product is not for you. But in the other hand if you don't want to waste time and just lunch your site, Weebly could help you. It is the cheapest option.
If you're looking for the most inexpensive choice in website builders, Weebly got you covered. It's easy to use, and you could launch your site in a few hours (if you got all the elements like photos, texts and links ready). They are partnered with square, so that makes them a good choice for an online store.
The problem with Weebly is that they work with templates, and your site is going to look kind of generic. You can change every part of it, but the general structure and look is going to be like every other user of Weebly. I also found that the builder is not so intuitive, it is kind of hard to achieve the results of the template you're presented, because they use good pictures and fonts. If you don't know anything about design, it is not going to look so good.

Overall Weebly is a solid choice for ecommerce needs, although there are other larger and more popular companies that can have a competitive edge.
Weebly has been around for a few years and even before it was integrated into Square, it served top notch customer support and an easy, streamline interface.
Depending on needs, it can be difficult to decide between Weebly for ecommerce, Square, Clover, and other larger programs.

I love Weebly and currently use it for my website.
I love Weebly. I started off using Weebly, and then came back to using Weebly after trying two other website builders. What I like about Weebly is its simple interface. It's very user and beginner friendly. It's drag and drop website builder is intuitive for anyone. Now that Weebly has partnered with Square it has a lot more all-in-one functionally. You can have a blog, email marketing, Facebook posts, point of sale, appointments, eCommerce, and more.
Orginally the drag and drop editor was a little slow, but since they have partnered with Square it's been fast.

The square online store powered by weebly was pretty simple to get up and running and since I had already used weebly in the past it was easily to build my website. The software is also easy to use for beginners.
The square online store lacked some features in the free trial that you had to pay for and that was alright but I wished the free trial had custom domain support because I wanted to test that before I paid

I originally started with Weebly, in 2005, when I moved to Durango. I was using FatCow’s service. It was better than what others they offered. Then, when I went back in business, I noticed Square had purchased Weebly! I was in as soon as I could get it started! Ive been pretty happy so far with service and product.
Ease of use and adding inventory is a snap!
Could have a few more templates for the pages.

Poor. My group converted their data to POS, then asked me to fit that into Square Online. Its nearly impossible to take a complex ecommerce structure and shove it into this simple, not ready for primetime, web tool. Square bought Weebly, as far as I know, but they did not deploy all the Weebly web dev. tools to Square Online. Online help is virtually useless for anything more complex than how to link a single image or create a simple product record. And when you do find a hit in online help, its in the Weebly community and doesn't apply to Square Online.
1. Integrates with POS. 2. Category creation is easy.
Terrible set of features for a business with > 100 products 1. If you set products up with Variations (think Red/Blue/Green shirts) you cannot archive a variation if its no longer available. 2. There is no import/export of images. All images must be manually uploaded and their meta data entered manually. 3. You cannot split an item (product) that has variations, into two products via import/export...

Great ! Experience and they are top the line merchant services that I have ever known. I look forward to more upgrades like Weebly and more of their great , convenient , easy to use, feature and services.
The merchant service fit my business industry, products and services. The upgrade of services and feature are awesome!
Need a easy shipping on the online website shipping admin with the weight, shipping prices and a easier one time payment link just for businesses without the campaign because it is political. So make a separate link that fits embed code on the features and make it easier to embed. And I can not receive what ever business sales amount of a purchase over 50,000.00 each transactions. I have to make partial payments through the website for one purchase transaction (For Example: if a sale is 115,000 and the transaction only excepts 50,000.00 per transaction; so there will have to be 3 purchase transactions. That's horrible. I need only one transaction per purchase at any price and they can still add other purchases if selected and add to total.
