Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

ZEDI overview
What is ZEDI?
ZEDI from Zircon Blue is an electronic data interchange platform for businesses of any size in industries including manufacturing, retail, logistics, and finance. Users can manage the import and export of multiple transaction types with external partners into a format readable by any machine.
ZEDI provides full archiving capabilities with flexible search functions for locating past transactions. Metadata is captured from each transaction in order to facilitate advanced search, providing users with additional search terms and criteria to locate past transactions. Transactions can be imported or exported in any machine-readable format including EDI, XML, CSV, spreadsheets, SQL, and HTML. This enables businesses to continue carrying out online transactions with partners using different systems and software.
With ZEDI workflows, transactions and trading partners can be categorized and combined with user-defined attributes and criteria, enabling users to customize workflows and manage business transactions. With the permissions management functionality, users can assign access levels and security certificates to employees. Additionally, account usage can be monitored, enabling managers to oversee access and identify any security breaches or uncertified access attempts.
Key benefits of using ZEDI
ZEDI currently contains definitions for over 11000 EDI message types of various standards and versions, with new definitions being added periodically
ZEDI allows workflows to be defined for specific combinations of transaction type and trading partner. This is done by defining a sequence of actions that need to be performed on each type of transaction
ZEDI stores information for lookup tables and registers in a form that can be easily maintained and managed. It also captures metadata from each transaction to aid in searches and workflow control
Not all trading partners have the systems and software that allow them to generate and process EDI transactions automatically. Typically, these are low-volume customers and suppliers who would normally exchange orders with your business manually. ZEDI supports the exchange of information with these partners via an on-line system
ZEDI has native support for a wide variety of communications methods, allowing great flexibility in the way transactions can be exchanged between trading partners and your business systems
ZEDI has a number of management functions that allow you to manage your list of users, security certificates and account usage.
There is also a “Downloads” section where you can retrieve the latest documentation as well as the installers for the ZEDI developers toolkit
