The software is also incredibly easy to navigate. The team at OfficeTools is great if we ever have an issue that we can not resolve ourselves or with the online support.

There are a lot of things I love about this software and it was a vast improvement 3 years ago over what I was using.

We like that when you set up a task you can complete your portion and then assign it to the next person. You have the ability to track the project without having to have it clutter up your to do list.

Cannot use on hosted environment other than cloud9 (which is awful). Price increases over 50% after purchased by Abacus.

It includes billing, and time and project tracking. It's easy for staff to use, and there are multiple ways of completing tasks so employees can use the way that works best for them.

It doesn't notify you that Lacerte has been logged off. Also, the training module and how it works was a bit confusing for us.

We switched to Office Tools to utilize the integrations with Lacerte, Outlook, and Crexendo, and for the ease of use. The contact management is so easy to use.

We have contacted customer service several times due to a bug or glitch and we have had to wait months to get an answer because they weren't sure why the problem was happening.

We have actually now split into two different products as we wanted beefier document management tools. Calendar connecting with exchange was a hot mess.

I have difficulty getting out letters and distinct lists of information. If you don't do those tasks very frequently you forget the process and it takes too long.

Could be a good product but no customer service to help you realize its potential.

Love: Billing:  select all time entries related to a project to mark up and bill, or bill all out marked up for a monthly subscription client.

The only down side is that sometimes the integrations need to pushed manually. This applies to demand force and the Office tools portal.

I like the user friendly package. I like the document layouts as they are easy to talk through with clients and clients like the layout of the reports.

Our system is server based and over the last two years as the product has become more cloud based the desktop version has lost small funcionality that can provide annoying glitches.

Report formats available are inflexible. On HandiTax, the tracing of tax return errors is sometimes difficult to navigate.

I like the ability to email support, rather than having to wait on the phone. Replies are always prompt and to the point.

It is a great program and does what it is designed to do. Simple to use and navigate.

I am a semi-retired accountant and I very much enjoy using the product to do a small number of tax returns. I particularly like the fact that it gives me errors messages toot help me get it right.

I'm disappointed that the Workpapers feature isn't available at the beginning of the year, and can only be used for the previous year, not available for the current year, when preparing BAS.

I like the fact that it is a well integrated system if you get several modules. Easy to install on desktop & workstations.

Very good product overall, but very expensive, and the annual increase in cost over the years has never been, in my mind, able to be justified, especially if we compare the increases with inflation.

Simple to install and operate. Support staff very helpful.

I tried valiantly a few times to venture into this, but the complexity, the lack of ease, the difficulty that requires almost an programming degree, has left me avoiding this at all costs.
