I have clients that use different placements for the law firm id/customer id.  Contacted customer support (as there is an option to copy the template) to find out how to reverse the 2 columns and was told that it cannot be done and that he would bring it up with the developer.

If you create a bill several months ago and you go back to look at the bill to see what the retainer balance was at the time of that bill, the historical bill actually pulls up the retainer that exists now.

The mobile app allows you to quickly capture your activity while fresh and to enter time, expenses, etc., on the go, during travel or momentary downtime, or in other instances where use of a laptop may not be practical or convenient.

After almost ONE  attorney billable hour, [sensitive content hidden] wanted to tell me that it was our fault to cancel the appointments and offered me to talk to [sensitive content hidden].   If the computer does not send me the link to get on the link, how did they claim I cancelled the appointment.   When I asked [sensitive content hidden] to ask their IT to figure the glitch, and ask the company developing the "roadmap" so that small firms can print out the whole historical entries all in one invoice with clear statements and payments that client has paid.  

The product has great functionality in tracking time, ease of performing and switching functions with multiple access points to product features (such as editing time entries and invoices), and  creating professional looking invoices.

In the end you're playing phone tag leaving voicemails trying to cancel a cheap monthly subscription.

I dislike the cost of using PP to collect credit card payments from clients, and I dislike that I cannot assign more than a single email to a client account/matter.

I researched and tested several similar law practice management programs, having never been exposed to anything prior to opening my own firm (old firm used calendar and a phone book, combined with Outlook).

My clients love the text reminders for court dates and the ability to text a question to the office.

Excellent app which helps me manage all my firm tasks

Easy to use - like the billing mass number option in lieu of on entry at a time.

The experience was fine until we attempted to cancel our PracticePanther subscription.

I am very disappointed that they stole an extra year of service from my credit card and refused to refund it when I requested termination of services.

I have to wait almost a week to get paid.

Like any online program, if the server is down or if I have no access, I am dead in the water.

Having restart searches for contacts or matters when we did not find the one we were looking for i.e. multiple persons with same name.  and having to search again.  Would like to be able to have reporting using matter type.  

My firm has used Practice Panther for 5+ years without any issue.

It takes forever to get a response and PP doesn't really want to have phone call to discuss a PP issue.  

Now it takes me a few minutes and a few clicks of a button and its finished, and the invoices are on their way to my clients, with an easy way to pay online.

It is nice to have the software online as SAS (Software as Service) as I dont have to worry about software updates.

Decent good, easy to use, but SUPPORT NEEDS TO IMPROVE, INCLUDING live chat.   If we used Live Chat, why there was no response?

One of the most important things when you want to switch editions is that you have to go back to the customer profile and then back to the editions before switching to a new one.
