Using Anedot allows campaigns and non-profit organizations to "hit the ground running" with the ability to start raising funds in a FEC-compliant manner as early as the same day they apply for their account.

The easy way to set campaigns for deployment on the website, through social media or via text messages was simple, yet the features are far superior to those offered by other options for collection of donations or contributions.

I looked at other donation sites and found all the companies providing this service then compared their costs.

Makes it easy since you only have to set up one user account and then Anedot knows you have worked with them before when you set up another client.

For some campaigns with more initial capital and a higher volume of donors, it may make more sense to build your own complete platform with a lower transaction cost, but for smaller campaigns, the cost brings a lot of value.

Larger orgs will want to use a CRM to manage their file.

Have not figured out how to thank donor directly from the donation email, but probably my fault.

They take feature suggestions seriously and are continually rolling out new, useful updates.

It manages and exports into easy to use excel spreadsheets.

Rather than needing to build out a custom platform each time requiring thousands of dollars of investment, campaigns can start collecting money quickly and securely.

We have this set up in separate software which can seem redundant.

I've also set up hundreds of donation pages for different clients, and using the Anedot page builder is very straight forward.

We investigated options and landed on Fundraise Up because it offered a simple payment process and options like Apple Pay.

FundraiseUp can only create a dollar amount and description.

I wanted to have a checkout where they could choose an item to donate and quantity.

There are very few elements that they offer for your campaign pages.

My account rep keeps changing which makes me think that they are not the best company to work for.

Ease of use, ability to create donation pages quickly are 2 examples

The campaign pages are not very versatile.

I have to tell them that they got a doc each time they donated.

You cannot customize gift range by donors, so lift in mid-level program is not as great, but overall gains are worth the switch.

So far the only thing we have come across software-wise is not being able to ask any custom questions for Peer-to-Peer Fundraising.
