Event management capabilities were apparent and data reports that can be generated after an event are useful.

I am used to being able to default to charging for credit card processing fees (giving the user the option to easily opt out).

Greater Giving is a great product for nonprofit auctions, has a smooth platform for auction guests, and as an easy ticketing system.

In general, I like the system, but some things didn't go well for us (e.g., date of fundraiser event was incorrect, even though comms to GG about this were not acted upon, therefore credit card readers did not work - a disaster for check-in.).

There's a section for each feature I need, and there are lots of options if I need something specific for my event.

Excellent software, and great support from the helpdesk, who each time I speak to them they teach me something new I can use to make our event better.

We’ve used Greater Giving  for years for our various fundraisers and the best feature is being able to use the same features year after year especially with our sponsor levels and perks.

It is just not very user-friendly changing some aspects of your published website, but otherwise there are not really any complaints.

Every time I needed help answering a question or figuring out a best practice, I always got everything answered completely.

The sales/payment reporting function is cumbersome.

The only draw back is when a donor donates more than one of an item for an auction and it will be placed in multiple packages.

Having all of our constituents filed over the years makes the process of opening a new event easy and seamless.

Their customer service and technical support is helpful, but I shouldn’t have to call them as often as I do.

For one example, if you add a logo for a sponsor to add to the event landing page, it doesn't say that it has to be specific format.

The flexibility of the software can be very clunky and not so user friendly.

System is very intuitive but appreciated the best practices intro.

There are some Day of Auction Glitches, like logging people out of the system and screens freezing during bidding.

The lack of ability to have guests edit their purchase information and guest list info.

It provides easy to learn and use products for a variety of events.

Questions are answered in a timely fashion by knowledgeable representatives.

I would like to have the option to enter in an item number when adding items to packages, not just words.   When you have multiple people getting packages ready, not everyone uses the same wording and it is putsy and annoying to have to go out of Packages and into Items to find what I'm looking for if I don't use the same words that someone else used to identify an item.   If you are going to have us assign numbers, maximize that.

I'm a visual person and figuring out this program all on my own, well, as an ED sometimes I just need you to tell me what to do and show me how to do it.

It did not have some of the abilities our previous service had, which made a ton of extra work on our end.

Our event is biennial and coming back 18 months later was much easier knowing the staff and help center were prepared to assist.

The cost of setup and annually can be a bit high but doesn't outweigh all the benefits.

Having the consistency & info between the years is really helpful as the volunteers change each year.  

Software is very well organized and not difficult to learn and manage; help chat is always there with a quick solution to your problem.

We’ve used it to integrate data across our systems and automate reporting. While it doesn’t go deep enough on recurring donors (a theme you’ll see in my review), the rest of the API offering is excellent and well-documented.

Sidenote, one of the biggest detractors in all the approaches of assessing software are companies that will not provide you pricing or trial access without a meeting/sales presentation.

Awful, no real customer support, just a terrible AI bot, no real features, reporting is bad, customers don't like it and have complained

Not a sales meeting. When we looked into it, Keela would have a significant cost for our donorbase (they charge a success tax based on how many subscribers in your donor list).

The CRM is limited in its ability to target groups of users - segmenting and tagging cannot really be done dynamically, and has prevented us from using Raisely to handle anything more complex than simple transactional emails such as donation receipts.
