I am unsure if this is a genuine “con,” but Rediker offers numerous data fields, some preprogrammed and others that the system allows you to add.

User interface feels dated compared to newer SIS platforms. While functional, some screens and workflows could benefit from a more modern, streamlined design.  

With adminplus.com getting up and running, there are still some of the items that I would like to be use that are not yet available, however they provide regular updates and constant communication about what is coming up.

Of course all the student, parent, and teacher experiences are web based or with an app.   But the administrator has to remote into a Windows environment, which is really just a minor inconvenience all things considered, and they are working on the new web based Admin Plus.  

The huge recent addition is integration between the GradeBook and Google Classroom, that really helped our school during Covid-19 as did their fantastic Support and other teams.  

From the day I started using it, I found it easy to understand, user friendly.  

The team at Rediker is knowledgeable, professional, and great to work with.

Some of these bigger companies may have more resources but also an incoherent strategy a lot of the time.

What I liked the most about this tool is that it allowed my students to creatively share their work, projects, and reflections through a variety of formats, such as images, videos, and files to me to improve communication with them.
