Easier to edit some transactions i.e. JE compared to Sage 100. Able to run financial reports for different department vs entities.
Pages/modules change in different roles instead of staying at the same page for all but limit access for each role. Some modules/buttons are named almost the same but doing the same function.

So far so good. We’re happy with the attention and customer service we are receiving.
In our evaluation of new accounting packages, we reviewed NetSuite, Blackbaud, and Sage. NetSuite gave us the functionality we wanted by far.
The cost is higher than we’d hoped for as we are s nonprofit, however they do have nonprofit pricing.

Overall Netsuite has been an incredibly helpful software to us us and I would love it to anyone 100+1%.
I like that Netsuite makes a big difference,All our departments can get all things done from one system including ERP,CRM, E-commerce, Financials,AP and HR.Finally it is reasonably user friendly for the average person as well easy to use and set up.
This software has been incredible and any issues we had the support team were very professional and on time to answer to our queries.

The overall experience has been positive. Support is very good.
Ability to write saved searches that use the data any way you wish. It was a lot of work, but I basically implemented the software myself with the NetSuite team. The key is to stay on schedule. The migration went smoothly from the old software.
Software is never 100% of need fulfillment. There are a few quirky issues. e.g. A/P voucher unable to post to employee receivable account.

Netsuite has made our organization much efficient than otherwise it would be.
The flexibility provides us with every opportunity to review data in clusters, groups or standalone, also the freedom to generate reports and be 100% creative is such a huge add on.
Although I recognize it as pulling a large amount of data, there are times where it can take a substantial amount of time for certain reports to load.

My overall experience with Netsuite is great. This software makes my job so enjoyable, finding information using a PO lookup is nice and Inventory adjustments are not difficult. Instead it makes my job very enjoyable and so happy to wake up and go to work everyday.
I loved how it is so user friendly and if you enter any information incorrectly. It is very easy to correct and very quick to do so. I believe it is well worth the money you spend to have such great software. I have since using Netsuite tried to compare so many different software applications and honestly , I have not really found anything as of yet. The closest software so far I think is SAGE.
I honestly didn't find anything that I disliked about this software.

We use it for all aspects of running our bvusiness from accounting to inventory to financial services and sales and marketing. We have moved to 100% paperless operations with an extreme amount of automation and automated workflow.
Comprehensive platform to run almost any business. Open API and highly configurable to personal and business preferences.
It is expensive but I feel we have gotten our monies worth. You are dealing with a very large company so there is a bit of an institutional feel to engaging with them.

NetSuite is the standard for companies when they get over about 100 employees or $100m in revenue. You can't afford a "real" enterprise system, but you've far outgrown something like Quickbooks. It is a good value for what it does, but it's really neglected in terms of UI, modern integrations, and basically anything Web 2.0.
The user interface is basically frozen in time from 2008. It's just terrible. You can't even believe this is being sold as a modern web app. We just migrated within the last 2 years, so it's not like we're on some legacy instance. And when there is a modern option, like an Android app for expense tracking, it's got such horrid reviews that I won't install it on my poor phone. No way. I'm sure the system keeps our accounts accurate, but from a user's point of view, it's super sad to see how old and ugly this product us.

very good, 100% would recommend. It is an asset to our company and we have been told by several potential Venture Capital groups that we are so far ahead of most companies our size by using NetSuite we have added value to our company.
The ease of integration with several of our very important eCommerce software platforms. Everyone in our office is now operation in the same environment, no need to use different platforms for different jobs. Also, the reports are endless and tremendous, the customization is a godsend!
Did take a bit longer to migrate data and set up than anticipated but once it was done works like a charm. A small learning curve to operate but it is very forgiving so no need to worry about messing anything up.

Despite the Cons stated above, Netsuite is a software that constantly being improved to resolve such issues. So I'm sure these limitations will be handled by the Netsuite Development team in the near future.
I really like the ease of use features and administration as aspects of net suite. It give the global visibility and local visibility of your business at a click of a button. It's easy to customize to most of your requirements without too much coding for development.
The Account receivable features for posting over payments, under payments and income without an invoice is done though manual journal entries and takes many steps compare to Sage. Also it doesn't allow you to consolidate invoice Netsuite Transactions. This means if you want to create a single invoice for more than 1 sales orders, you can't do that at present. When it comes to coding, you can't process more than 200 transactions to automatically using suite scripts, etc.

Accessibility and intuitive use. You can easily log in from any part of the world and access your account. There are links that exist between part of transaction (quote, SO, PO) that lets easily navigate through the workload
Inability to apply changes for all line items together (i.e 100 lines that need to have a specific uplift on quote for example) Now you have to go in and change each line individually vs. apply changes to all lines. It would be great to have the feature available.

We have over 100 users and use almost every feature available: webstore, ERP, CRM, Marketing Automation. We provide Engineering Services (maintenance services and design / build / install) and Distribution (Retail / Wholesale). It's a fantastic tool but people should never expect the tool alone to provide the business solution. The solution is clearly defining your business processes end to end from a customer experience perspective. Reporting is easy using Saved Searches.
Very flexible and adaptable. Cloud based and covers the full range of enterprise needs. Easy to use and good online help resources. Huge range of apps / partners can be used to establish exactly what your business needs.
You need access to specialist capabilities for a really effective implementation. Don't rely on their professional services unless you have very deep pockets. Customer service support is fine for simple issues and questions; usually good technical understanding but have trouble translating that into operational context. I've developed a fairly deep understanding of the entire suite excluding accounting. Helps me engage directly with the professional services and development people when working up solutions.

Business Problem Solved: Having a cloud based accounting system without hiring an expensive IT Guy. Was able to automate our sales and purchase process and the reports it generated were really useful.
Its flexibility and its less dependency on programmers. We replaced our SAP Business One with Netsuite Limited Edition after our IT Guy left. Since the forms in Netsuite are easily customizable without any programming required. We were able to easily edit our the layout of the documents to suit our needs by ourselves. Also, since Netsuite is cloud based. We were able to implement it easily in our provincial branch by just buying a $100 laptop as compared to $1,000-2,000 if it was SAP.
Additional support is expensive. But you can eventually find most of the solutions in google or its forum.

So far I like Netsuite, I don't love it. I'm hoping that after getting to use it more (it's only been 3 months), I will be more acquainted and used to it.
Going from Quickbooks to Netsuite was long overdue for our company. We have about 25 LLC's that all roll up to a Corporation. Each LLC has 1-7 properties. Netsuite has allowed for consolidated reporting, customized reports, and a convenient dashboard that QB cannot do.
The version of Netsuite we have did not allow for checks to be cut out of multiple bank accounts. This was a disaster since the sales team told us we were OK and the implementation team (3rd party) did not tell us this was an issue. Netsuite did pull through and wrote a script to get us working, but if you don't buy OneWorld, you will not have this option. I have used Sage Intacct and find Netsuite has a lot more customization, but sometime it is very difficult to figure out. Trying to learn where everything is or how to code is challenging.

Netsuite can be modified to meet the needs of many types of businesses. There are a lot of services that can be added. A good solution for medium to enterprise-sized companies.
Once you integrate Netsuite into all of your Operations, you are now 100% dependent on the uptime of Netsuite's web services. They show a 99.98%, but I have seen at least a couple of times where the status for a region changed to green, meaning "up," but the issue was not resolved 20-30 minutes later. Anyone using Netsuite needs to have a developer build dashboards and searches.

Overall everyone at my company is very excited to have finally found a system like netsuite and are overall satisfied with your experience thus far.
The ease of use as well as the lack of a batch system. We came from Sage 300 which feels very antiquated compared to Netsuite. The UI just felt very dated and it was not user friendly at all. If you found a prior mistake after that day then you might as well have found a work around because getting it reconciled was a nightmare. With Netsuite the system is intuitive enough that it can retro almost any issue that you find today back to whatever date it needs to be adjusted with little to no issue. I also like the openness of the system, there is no need to pay someone hundreds of dollars just to modify a form it is super easy to do on your own.
I love that there is a suite answers form for quick answers but sometimes they can be more confusing than anything. Maybe add some videos demoing what to do rather than just text based support. Implementation of some aspects were also a little less than stellar.

Once you get comfortable with the navigation and understand the workflows, it's easy to use. I'll give credit to NetSuite/Oracle for the help forum. Needed to add some functionality to the purchasing process (tracking whether POs have been acknowledged by the vendor, so I can follow up if not). Had a vague idea how to do it, but posted on the forum. One day later a NetSuite guru had posted a step-by-step process that 100% nailed it.
It's a web-based ERP, so it does basically anything you ask it to (or are will to pay for it to do). Once you get the hang of it, it's an awesome tool for ordering, receiving, production planning, accounting, etc. Customizable dashboard puts the right info in front of me.
1. It's web-based, but it's slowwwwwwww. Far and away the slowest software I use on my desktop (Mac). Sign in on the iPad Pro? It'll add an hour to my day waiting for page loads. 2. Everything costs extra. We currently pay for a third-party software to connect our Shopify store to NetSuite. Heard there was now a native NetSuite-Shopify connection. Tried to connect - turns out, you've got to pay for that too. Don't get me wrong - it's powerful stuff, but anything that's not part of the basic package is going to cost you. Negotiate!

Overall switching to NetSuite transformed our Finance team from data entry people to auditors. With most menial tasks automated or semi-automated, it freed up more time to audit our data and be more proactive with our accounting in general. Revenue management, which used to be a 100% manual, line-by-line nightmare, is now almost fully automated. Human errors were greatly reduced. Our sales opening process is almost fully automated thanks to the seamless Salesforce integration. Overall we are very satisfied with our switch.
The Revenue Management feature is amazing, a bit tricky to understand but once you get the hang of it it saves a ton of time.Multi-subsidiary and multi-currency work extremely well. We have 8 different subsidiaries in 3 currencies and it's made our lives so much easier to have them all in one place, with automatic currency conversion and automated end-of-month eliminations.Having automations like monthly postings to our GL, amortization calculations for our numerous IT purchases and monthly subscriptions, and the great reconciliation tool has saved us a ton of time during month's end.Integration with Salesforce was a breeze with an out-of-the-box connector.Support is generally very knowledgeable, problems are quickly fixed and answers quickly answered. There is a great Help tool (SuiteAnswers) where we find an answer to most of our problems, as well as a very active Enhancements Requests database.
Some features lack flexibility, like revenue recognition posting, but there are workarounds.User adoption can be slow because the system is very different from most mainstream systems, with it being so automated.Sales taxes management for Canada isn't totally adapted since they replicated American functionalities with Canadian codes, but there are also workarounds to this.

When purchasing anything, those in sales, help to sell you a product, which they may or may not know all if its capabilities. We thought we were informed buyer, but we write this review to help you be an even more informed buyer. We asked 100 typed out prioritized questions concerning the needs of our business to the sales team prior to signing the contract. When told that those 100 were too much for them to help determine if we were going to have our business objectives met, we narrowed the list to 10. We said we need to confirm that these things can be done with the software, so that our business can function. WE however didn't know to use the words CUSTOMIZATION vs CONFIGURED vs NATIVE to NetSuite. So in the tech world almost anything is possible to do with software if you are willing to have Customization done and pay for it. So as we worked through 3 month difficult onboarding process, we had to contact other companies to make NetSuite work for our business and in the end, had to find a work around, not related to using NetSuite to make a core function of our business function (Outlined in our Top 10 Questions) without being able to do this task in NetSuite. Don't just vet NetSuite, but the partners they recommend, as in the end, we wouldn't have signed the contract with how it worked for our business.
It combined financial data with order data.
The lack of Native Features that fit our business, too much customization needed for e-commerce.

Our company has been using NetSuite since 2011, when we first formed our organization. We have found that the user interface is easy to use and simple to train on when bringing in new hires. The transparency of the system allows us to track the complete process of an order - from the point the order is physically taken until the package has
