The income and balance sheet are easy to access without having to request a report. They can be update with a simple push of the Refresh button. The ability to see previous fiscal periods without having to do anything special has allowed the company to stay abreast of the health of the company.
Income and Balance sheets are captured accurately as long as the right account has been selected through the transactions. NetSuite reduces avenues for these sorts of mistakes.

NetSuite has tremendous horsepower around the invoicing functionality. We were able to take the work of three accounts receivable specialists working three full days to automating the process down to 15 minutes each month. In addition, we were able to charge customer credit cards on account simultaneously with invoice creation.
Visibility and management functionality, our past system was an IBM AS400 system that did not allow for the same monitoring and visibility. It was also onsite, requiring VPN, and not in real time. The real time allocations and connections give full visibility and a greater control of our business. The ability to create invoices automatically allows for me to better allocate my employees to complete their daily tasks. With this, it is vital because now I can have my order management team working on quality control and changes rather than focus solely on creation and allocation of invoices.

Pros
The best part of the software is that you You can download data for any period that you desire. It provides with a very user-friendly dashboard and the ease of accounting is also there.
It's ability to allow the user to customise the report by adding data field(s) which is great as we do not always need to go behind IT Professional asking for help.
The ability to customize just about anything your organization wants is rewarding. And if you are willing to spend, you can have your system fit your business processes like a glove.
Cons
My advice for those scoping out Netsuite is seriously analyze your business requirements and then advocate the hell for them in the scoping or implementation phases.
Please do your research before you find yourself stuck in a contract with a bunch of misleading employees that won't even respond to your email or try to address your concerns.
I hate the reporting functionality, avoid it if I can. Might be that I don't really understand its uses.
