Pros

What i like with Nitro is it is so easy to use with super friendly tools that even a beginner can use this app.
Meanwhile, Pro Edition has a lot to offer especially for big businesses which totally worth the investment. I really love using it, and I would continue to use it and recommend it to my friends.
Nitro is a valuable software and which helps to save our documents and also helps to protect environmental too.

Pros

I love the ease with which I can take apart PDFs, redesign, and put them back together. It is intuitive to use, and I've enjoyed playing with the features.
It helps me create fillable surveys for clients and students that makes it easy for everyone. I am pleased with the software.
PDFElement is my favorite PDF reader and I recommend it for all types of users, from the most basic to the most advanced.

Cons

What i dislike from this software is about the update. There is no regular updates.
OCR scanning comes with errors, extracting text from a file will have small errors.
Customer Service is horrible. I have had to re-activate my license at least three or four times in the one year that I have been using the product.

Cons

I opened and tried to work with ONE document and the program infected every other PDF on my computer, rendering all useless as they would not open in ADOBE or WORD once I had deleted the program.
Stability problems dealing with larger pdfs, started getting worse when version 7 launched and the developer decided they needed more revenue. We will probably not be buying the upgrade.
Having to purchase 2 separate licenses is costly and one license should permit at least 2 systems or 2 systems of differing platforms. Customer support/communications: non-existinet.

Lento ad aprirsi

Negativa, troppo lento

Pros

Worth the Value!

Reviewed 9 months ago
Pros

The product is easy to use with a clean and intuitive interface. The editing capabilities are a breeze to use compared to other more expensive PDF software on the market. I like the form creating and editing capabilities as well. The accompanying mobile apps make it versatile and easily accessible on multiple devices

Cons

Sometimes, there are performance issues, especially when dealing with large files. Lacks some advance PDF functions seen in Adobe Acrobat Pro

Wondershare PDFelement 6 Pro meets all the needs for working with PDF documents.

Reviewed 6 years ago

PDFelement Pro is definitely a powerful program to work with PDF documents, has an intuitive interface and a beautiful modern design and, despite the large number of features, it looks very neat. If you're looking for a powerful pDF editor, this is what you need. PDFelement Pro is suitable for work, both for professionals and ordinary users, both for commercial organizations and for private users.

Pros

Wondershare PDFelement 6 Pro program is mostly devoid of shortcomings and is highly appreciated in the work. The program is lightweight, has great functionality and high speed. Wondershare PDFelement 6 Pro is an editor that can do anything or almost anything with PDF. Wondershare PDFelement is a General PDF document editing program, an office tool from the all-in-one series. Editing features...

Cons

Would not be an objective review if you do not specify some of the shortcomings and mistakes. There are not many of them, but to mention them. Some symbols after OCR are displayed incorrectly and have to be corrected manually. However, this is not critical. There may be some errors in conversion with optical character recognition when converting tables. Sometimes there are some disadvantages of the style, where the fonts are replaced by non-similar signs. There are also conversion errors that contain more than one table. The navigation bar (scroll) on the pages of a PDF document can be made a little wider for convenience.

Good for the price but often buggy

Reviewed 6 years ago

A cheap solution for about 80% of the work I needed to do with pdfs.

Pros

It's far cheaper than Acrobat Pro and offers most of the same functionality. The design is clean and professional and it seems to work without requiring too much company memory.

Cons

It's a lot harder to get certain features like OCR and editing to work as expected. Feels like there are frequent updates, but almost too frequent without noticeable benefits.

Quick and Easy to use

Reviewed 5 years ago

Being in the insurance industry, pdf's are a part pf my everyday work. I need to be able to open, prints, excerpt, even edit these documents, and PDF Element gives me the ability to do that.

Pros

This software gives you more control over the pdf documents. You can clip a portion, or read the whole thing with OCR. I often need to copy and paste portions of pdf's into other media, such as email, and it works very well for that.

Cons

The User Interface could be more intuitive. I am using Pro Version 6, and I have been offered an upgrade, which is supposed to have improved the UI. I have not yet tried it.

Great PDF Editor

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

OCR is the main feature I use it for (Pro version). Making a fillable form is also very intuitive. All the other features like signatures, filling out a and editing a PDF is standard and works well.

Cons

Can get a little cumbersome when creating a form and trying to create check boxes. If I make one and copy it so all check boxes can be the same size, if I checked one check box, all boxes will be checked. So you have create a checkbox and customize it to the size you want, right click it then click "Use Current Properties As New Defaults." Then you click on multiple areas to place the check boxes. There NEEDS to be a better way to do this. I can see myself explaining this to many of my clients as I type.

Excellent PDF Software. Way better than Adobe Acrobat Pro and way cheaper, too! Highly recommend!

Reviewed 6 years ago

We dropped our monthly Adobe software subscription and wanted just Acrobat Pro. Way too expensive. Saved a tremendous amount of money by going with Element, and the extra benefit was this is a superior piece of software.

Pros

Great features. Excellent for all types of document management. Fast on tasks like combine and create PDFs. Easy page navigation and management. Overall just an excellent piece of software.

Cons

The Add Text feature is a little lame. Having to click on it each time to add text seems underdeveloped. This could be greatly improved. Click on it one time and it should be activated for as long as you are adding text to a document. Also, at times I experience weird font issues where it will change fonts or change bold/regular while editing text. I think overall the graphic design/text management could be improved upon. It's not bad, it's just that it could be way better.

Vendor response

Hey Jeff, Thanks for the suggestion on the "Add Text" feature, I totally agree with you! Best, Rebecca

Didn't find it to be high quality of easy to use

Reviewed 4 years ago

Not a fan overall. I feel like there are better options out there both free for similar quality or better quality for a cost.

Pros

It does a professional job when all is said and done. I've done some serious PDF editing with this tool and the user would never know

Cons

Maybe it's my version (element 6 pro) but I did not find it easy to use or innovative at all, especially for a platform that isn't free. It should have a much cleaner UX and easier design.

Easy to use...works well on both Windows and Mac computers

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

Get's the job done. Able to create PDF's and more importantly, edit PDF's. Installation was very easy to do, and program updates itself automatically, which is a big plus.

Cons

Interface is not as clean/streamlined as it could be. Some functions, such as combining multiple PDF's into one "master" PDF is not easy to do. Adobe Acrobat Pro is actually easier to use for this particular function.

WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO FILL IN BLANKS ON PDF FORM

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

NONE, IT DID PERFORM AS ADVERTISED. All I wanted to do was to fill in PDF Forms. I've been cheated and there is no way to contact Support. I tried everything, then gave up and worked it manually to a Word Processor Document ... as I didn't have the time to mess with it and stay on schedule.

Cons

DOESN'T WORK. Had to Copy Paste to .Pages Document and laboriously take out the placement info and enter my INFO. Took me over an hour to fill out form. WHAT A RIP OFF. Apple Pro Tower OS: High Sierra 10.13.4 COMPLETE WASTE of TIME.

Vendor response

Hi Robert, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused you. Which channel did you reach out to Support on? We would like to look into this communication issue to ensure that it doesn¿t happen in the future. In regards to the challenges you have found with filling out forms done on PDFelement, I am working from a Mac (Sierra 10.12.6) and haven¿t experienced the same issues while filling my PDF forms. I¿ll update my software and look for any incompatibilities. Let me know if you require any further assistance! Best, Rebecca

PDF Element 6 does the job

Reviewed 5 years ago

I had business suppliers and customers send me their terms and conditions of trade, which before I was challenged to modify in the document, but today, I can now review and modify their documents with ease.

Pros

I used to be an avid Adobe Acrobat fan, however I started to use the free version of PDF Element to try and get at features which were not available on Adobe. I enjoyed the product so much that I purchased PDF Element 6 Pro and have been very pleased with its performance and capability. It has taken a bit of effrort to get used to working PDF Element 6 Pro, but I am pleased that I persevered with it, as its functionality is hands down better than Adobe who seem to have lost its way. As time progresses, the team at PDF Element have improved the functionality even more, and it is a joy to use. I have recommended this product to others whom now also enjoy its benefits.

Cons

Difficult to navigate around initially but gradually getting used to where controls are at. This only arose as a result of being such a long time user of Adobe, but today, I am finding it easier to navigate my way around this application. It has been worth while learning to use this application properly.

It's a good product to choose for people who are tired of ripping off.

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

PDFelement's value for money has been a large pro for me. Moreover, it does provide all the needed functionalities and goes beyond other PDF readers. I particuarly get frustrated when some readers mess up the original documents and provide no way to edit. Yet, PDFelement just does the work. Some features like digital signatures, watermarking, covering photos into PDF and etc. are really nice as often not available in free software.

Cons

I often find those services frustrating because of poor customer services. However, PDFelement's customer services are good and rapid. Of course, you don't meet always what you want due to several reasons, but they still try to solve. Hence, so far I don't have any problem with it.

Vendor response

Thank you so much for your amazing feedback! :) We do try our best to offer the best support we can, then try improve on it more. Let us know if you need any help! We are here for you.

PDFelement 6 has issues

Reviewed 5 years ago

I work with PDF documents every day. I don't use a lot of the advanced features, but when I do need them, I want them to work flawlessly, intuitively and efficiently. PDF Element 6 does NOT meet those requirements.

Pros

The cost was reasonable since I purchased it on sale. It allows up to 15 tabs to be open at one time and allows multiple instances of the program to run simultaneously.

Cons

1. It doesn't retain pinned documents. After a while, they become unpinned. Tech support is of no help. They say they can't duplicate the issue and just STOPPED helping me. Now, they ignore my service tickets for help. 2. It doesn't show all the open "tabbed" documents. They tend to disappear and then reappear. 3. Conversion from PDF to a document if very poor, especially to Word. The documents...

Transitioning from Acrobat was easier than expected

Reviewed 6 years ago

I didn't get to be robbed by Adobe for their software. Upon renting another current Adobe product, that application uninstalled my paid version Acrobat Pro. This is a very underhanded tactic to get users to purchase/lease new software. With WonderShare I get nearly immediate response to any problems I might have. I get a well developed software that has never crashed (can't say that about Acrobat) and once it was paid for, it was freely my own. This is a great product and I will continue to recommend it.

Pros

Everything that I look for in Acrobat without the ridiculous price or rental fees. It's fast and efficient and well thought out. Some of the layout could use tweaking but everything takes time and I'm very satisfied with how it works.

Cons

There are a couple glitches that can be frustrating. Although the software is updated regularly, upon each update/upgrade it loses its file association to PDFs. When printing from an application to PDF, very often if PDF Element is not open the print does not complete although the application does open. Obviously you can print a second time, but it is something to take note of. I keep a desktop folder of PDF files that gets updated daily and when using PDF Element is opened it defaults only to the desktop and not the same folder. There doesn't appear to be a setting for this default. And the biggest con for me that is the most annoying is that it does not support WIA or TWAIN and you cannot scan directly into the application to PDF like you would normally do with Acrobat.

Vendor response

Hey Brian, Glad to hear that you had an easy transition! Thank you for your detailed notes on printing PDFs. I've reported it to the developers who will take a look. Best, Rebecca

Huge Time Saver

Reviewed 5 years ago

I am solving time by being able to make a quick edit to an existing PDF form where use to have to start from square one.

Pros

Great Value compared to other platforms. Ease of use along with regular how to blogs and videos that are sent out by the company. It saves me a ton of time being able to make a simple change to the many real estate forms and brochures where I would otherwise have to start over. I think the program has improved since I first bought the lifetime option about 2+ years ago. I am glad I did so. I use their Filmora Pro for my video editing which is how I found out about this alternative to the much more expensive and harder to use Adobe program.

Cons

It can sometime be a little slow to load when you have a brochure that has a large number of high resolution photos.

Excellent platform-integrated PDF editor, way to go

Reviewed a year ago
Pros

Worked with Acrobat PRO on a MAC platform for years; the company's migration to PDFelement was not only economical but also incredibly practical. With MAC, the connection is significantly more seamless. The application is a "luxury" piece of software for free since it offers so many tools. Among many other features, we may annotate PDF documents by removing text, merging documents, compressing, taking a picture of the page, adding photos, and safeguarding it. Highlight for the OCR reader, which does a great job at converting closed PDF files into editable documents. The application, which is compatible with both Windows and Mac, is quite small and performs admirably on any computer. The following are a few of the many beneficial aspects that stick out.

Cons

Setting up your own previewer for Microsoft Outlook and Explorer is required. There is a solution, but they won't recognise it, so they removed it from their blog (marking it as spam) since it made reference to a rival's product. When the question was forwarded to their email support, they didn't offer a recommendation or anything more than a simple "it's not supported" response. It was up to me to locate it.
