Simple things like creating PO's, CO's or SC's was good but then in one of the applications, if you added a line item accidentally or had to change it before it was submitted, you literally could not delete the line.

Our organization is small, and we don't use all of the modules within the system (e.g. payroll & inventory); however, the ones we use suit our needs.

It also gives a sense of control over the numbers, with clear audit trails and reporting that makes it easier to trust what you’re seeing at month‑end.

Do not fully absorb international accounting standard, more specific to adjust or automatically updated the market value/fair value for some instrument/account that require to value into market price/fair value, most likely like multicurrency account, and all other journal automatically follow accordingly that is already in Sage 300.

Inquiry section is very good for finding items with batch numbers so that you can go look up any specific transaction after the fact.

Customization tools are 3rd party with expensive SDK option that's not as friendly as 3rd party ones.

We asked for a quote to help us migrate to a cloud version and it was not only going to be expensive, we had to ask repeatedly for the quote.

Could use a little revamp for Financial and other Reporting functions as that process still seems kind of clunky.

The Purchase Order module is not fully integrated with A/P and requires manual posting.  

Updates and customizations typically require IT or consultant involvement, which adds cost and downtime.

Users typically satisfied once they are proficient, the initial learning curve is steep, and the platform often feels dated without supplemental tools.

The data base was not bi-directional, so writing information into it was nearly impossible.  

It is causing my office to keep several machines on the older version of Office.

We look forward to future integrations into Sage and would participate in webinars that set forth Sage and 3rd party capabilities.

So you would have to print to PDF and edit it or print and white out the line.

This meant we could not do any project forecasting inside of the system without bolt-on software.

Other than some complex setup issues, the students seem to be able to learn the software and use it competently.

The canned reports that are offered to us are sometimes not what is needed.
