Pros

Good software specially those who are not very good in modern software and those who are looking for quick solution on your financial data processing needs in a strict budget.
Easy to use, store as much data as i can that iz amazing , useful to every Acccountant and every businessmen for their Account data.
Detailing of stock and other stuff are pretty good in this software as well as one can enter the details and get the respected report very easily.

Pros

It used to be so great if you needed help you just called in and someone would know the answer and either have you fix it or they would get in your computer and do it. It was a fantastic service.
I highly recommend QB, especially if you have some accounting knowledge it is super easy to use and very accurate and reliable.
The program itself is excellent as seen from its popularity. My greatest need has been customer service technical support.

Cons

If windows is corrupt the data of tally is lost, so every time user needs to backup the data, also it is not available in various languages. Some users needs hindi input.
Fraud : we were sold trial software and that caused us 2 months of implementation.
It's a bit costly and it takes time to get accustomed to the User-Interface.

Cons

It's is also difficult to back up and change mistakes. At least I have a difficult time with that.).
The cost of this product is ridiculous, especially when compared with their other products.
The pressure to switch to the online version is ridiculous. They even removed the automatic foreign currency rate adjustments/updates in an attempt to force us to move to a new version.

Pros

Very fast, adaptive, it has lot of settings which suits our needs, they also give support under warranty period. Overall an accounting software which made for Indian market, we are used to tally, we can not adjust in any other software.

Cons

Not collaborative, very difficult to setup on remote desktop. no cloud option

Waste of time. I had to migrate out of it to Quickbooks, Zoho, etc. as it works super slow in my system, since I migrated to Tally Prime!

Pros

Few integration with other softwares & sound accounting features integrated.

Cons

1. No automation. In fact, to get automation, you need to pay someone to build, develop, implement & learn how to automate for each and every new automation you want! 2. Hangs a lot and the cloud version is designed to make money, not to sell the product! 3. A lot of good features are now obsolete. They haven't designed the product to upgrade with the digital world. 4. Bad UI/UX for a person who doesnt understand how accounting works. It's designed to discourage people, who do not know about accounting, not to pursue it!

We are using this application as a financial accounting system and it is helping us keep track of all accounting entries and its reporting from both user as well as statutory point of view.

Pros

The software has been used my many Companies and is easy to manage from the IT Admin point of view. The users too find extreme satisfaction when using it as the reports and working of the system is simple and configurable.

Cons

The software is not online enabled. It is a desktop based application and the Company is not thinking of making it available as an online application or on mobile.

Pros

1. Extremely easy to understand and easy to use. 2. Serve as an ERP product for the organization 3. Customised reports 4. Regulatory compliances inbuilt in software 5. Preparation of financial statement made easy. 6. Complete audit trail. 7. Multi-user facility and remote user facility like Tally.Net services 8. Easy setup

Cons

1. Cloud services not available unlike Quickbook or other software. 2. Only desktop version available, web version not available. 3. Some advance features missing like auto bank statement download, regular auto posting etc. 4. Mobile or Tablet not supported.
