The only way to proceed is to "Save" (which may or may not apply a timestamp) or "Cancel". If you click "Save", it may enter in a misleading timestamp. If you click "Cancel", it takes you back to the main screen with all of your records and then you have to click in to the next record that you wanted to edit.

There is a learning curve in Quickbase that may take some time or training to fine tune your data.
