Pros

Generally awesome, the fact that our boss retains its subscription after more than a year now, it's definitely useful. It's actually the basis of our timekeeping and salary.
My boss was able to set it up by himself which was a good thing because he's not able to do that all the time. Time Doctor was good in helping us to keep up with everyone time.
Free to use and user friendly to every one who desires to use this. I do recommend this because it is a good and best software in its functionalities in my own opinion.

Pros

I like that all of the jobs are reliable and the process of finding jobs that are great for you is easy and straightforward. A very professional service.
Hubstaff support is always helpful and quick to respond. We have had pretty good success with Hubstaff and their integration support.
We love hubstaff and use it to manage staff and payroll. It's awesome and has great features.

Cons

Bunch of buggs in anoying. Interface is very bad, you can not even make any report - because filters are absolutely is awful.
Sometimes the syncing of time can be incorrect when switching between multiple computers, which can cause loss of working time.
Need to start and stop it manually due to which there is a space for human error.

Cons

It ends up being distracting and fosters an unhealthy urgency mindset. If you forget to switch time between projects, it can be confusing to redistribute it.
The screenshot is vulnerable, as it contents some live online code and can be fatal in the wrong hand, I stopped using it. I need a tutorial to learn how to use report, which is a waste of my time.
If it is used to punch in and the computer has a problem, it can be a hassle to log back in and enter your lost time.

Unmitigated Disaster

We are in software development ourselves and this whole platform reeks of something that was built by cheap, overseas, outsourced development teams, OR it was something that has been rushed to market. You need to avoid Time Doctor and Staff.com like the plague. The two companies are linked and perhaps merging because recently Staff.com had a message on their website that said something to the effect...

Pros

Having to email their support to cancel my account...I'm joking that was just the last annoying thing I was forced to do with this company. Nothing...I like absolutely nothing about it.

Cons

Absolutely terrible piece of software. I cannot for the life of me understand why this software has such high ratings. We used it for about six months and had nothing but problems with it. Some of the issues were: 1. Time not syncing between mobile, desktop, and web clients. 2. Time not accurately being tracked. 3. Unable to archive old project-tasks or projects. 4. Tasks and projects not syncing...

The customer has some genuine problems. We put the full attention of our team on these problems and they are all now solved. However they are very unhappy and have been posting the same negative review on multiple review sites. I think the review is unfair given that 99%+ of our customers are very happy and give us great reviews, and very few people had the problems that this customer had with...

Hubstaff

I love it! Still use it and recommend to other colleagues.

Pros

I like that it comes with the integrated time doctor, detailed reports for the team activity & productivity, as well as the recruitment Hubstaff Talent platform, I'd say it's the best remote hiring platform. Have found many employees from there.

Cons

There's no payroll integration with Payoneer. It's tough to do payroll with limited options.

Hubstaff

The best solution for integrated task management and thorough time tracking and reporting.

Very happy I moved from Time Doctor to Hubstaff. Huge improvements on all areas and a satisfying product to use. The experience is so good that I find myself wanting to stay with Hubstaff regardless of whether my need for time tracking reduces.

Pros

- Integrated Task Management platform (Hubstaff Tasks) allows for agile style task management that feeds appropriate tasks to user's timers. - Nice user interface - Good reporting functions - Thorough tracking options - Client/project budgets - Very good Customer Support

Cons

- I discovered some bugs during usage (which the developers have ironed out) - Time off / holiday allowance policy function is a great addition, but doesn't allow enough granularity as decimals of hours (or minutes) can't be used.
