Going from using a laser to measure each room and taking 2 hours to sketch it out by hand to using my phone to take a 10 minute scan and im done.

Its a game changer! Plus the extra options and improvements they keep making such as adding 3d floor plans, gross living area, property description packages, and more!

My suspicion is that most of this is algorithmic or AI based, because if humans were actually reviewing footage and comparing to the output floorplan they would catch the silly mistakes that come up.

I like the home detail that the app provides.   

All of this would be water under the bridge if the editing software had any degree of flexibility, but it doesn't.

Poor experience, since you're up charging.  

Id recommend using this product for every single real estate listing.

I was "old school" with graph paper and pencil, lasers and tapes, measuring the perimeter and creating a sketch in the field, then transcribing the sketch on my computer; I am now comfortable with this state of the art technology.

I use this for every listing I take and oftentimes combine it with a 360 degree tour to allow viewers to see where they are in the house by referencing the floor plan.

The company provides attractive & precise floor plans with accurate icons (such as curved staircases, shaped tubs and kitchen islands).  

The process took time; 1-2 hours to measure & sketch the property on site, then another 1-2 hours to create accurate plans with software.

Cubicasa does little to nothing with feedback given, either.

Floorplans are quick and relatively intuitive to execute.

The ability to customize and add/delete room labels in Quick Edit is great, and CubiCasa has  absolutely fantastic Customer Service.

That the app logs you out that when you're at a rural area with no signal, you have to hope that you get at least one bar of signal to get the app to work...it should work without the need to login, or at least have it where it can still record for a later upload

Not only has CubiCasa saved me from the process of creating my own floor plans, but now I am able to fit more shoots in per day.  

Wish normal turnaround time was six hours instead of 10 or 11 hours.

Plain 2D is fine, but people seem to be asking for more stuff (cars in garages, some furniture for scale, different colors/textured floors, etc).

I opened the app scanned the apt and shortly after I had floor plans good enough to work for my buyers and do take offs for estimating renovations

The job Cubicasa does is often as good or better than I would be able to do measuring myself with a laser inside, and saves a lot of time re-sketching the house later.

Especially with new construction, I need to see where the roughed-in plumbing is so I can properly place the fixture in the appropriate location.

It may seem expensive for a basic sketch, but for larger, more complicated properties properties it saves so much time and meets the ANSI requirements.  

Sometimes the measurements can be off, but I stress to my clients that this should be used to get an idea of how the house flows and where the rooms are located to each other.  

I'm required to maintain all documentation in an appraisal work file for the property being appraised.

Knowing the scanning process takes literally minutes instead of hours allows me to accomodate my Real Estate Agents more easily.  

We are able to scan and have a rough layout of the spaces we are renovating the Same DAY.

It's simple to scan a home, load the scan and upload for processing. Plus, the turnaround time is exceptionally fast.

This software is easy to use, compliant with Fannie Mae and looks very professional in my appraisals.   If there are any mistakes, you can do a quick fix yourself or send it back and they will fix it for you.  

This product saves me lots of time especially when I have a 1.5-story house to measure.

As long as you look at the floor plan and edit room names if are incorrect

I wish they would put the measurements of the exterior on the better-looking downloads instead of just the grid.
