5 Ways SMBs Can Bridge the Digital Skills Gap Post-COVID-19

However, there’s a palpable digital skills gap that organizations are struggling with. Twenty-two percent of respondents we surveyed say this lack of skills is their biggest challenge in pivoting in response to the pandemic. This skill shortage in the workforce has broadened in the wake of the COVID-19 and pushed businesses to transform almost overnight.

While mitigating the skills gap is essential for workforce development and overall success, businesses often find themselves ill-equipped to do so. Survey Methodology

In June 2020, GetApp surveyed 577 respondents who hold leadership roles at U.S. businesses with between 2 and 500 employees. We asked respondents a range of questions about business model changes, digital skills, and IT management/security in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Respondents were not required to answer every survey question.
