there were no cons specifically, we did note the option to pay cash or check via donated items but automatically invoices so most people just paid with their card.

The site gave us the opportunity to manage the event up to closing when we saw a big increase in activity.  

As a small 501c3 we thought the expenses from using the site were a little drastic, especially with the percentage taken out for any of the TravelPledge items we sold.

Also, I ran a dummy auction for internal testing and then had to start again with a new auction - it would be helpful to know not to close such a trial in order to preserve the initial entries.

The flyers that it creates are aesthetically pleasing and look very professional for displays.

Everyone raved how fantastic the online option was this year compared to years past with in person/paper silent auction style.

The best thing about winning bidder.com was that we could utilize not only their products of our choosing but it was a simple and efficient platform to post our other donated products.

The process to register as a bidder was a bit clunky.  

This was the easiest and most efficient silent auction ever - it allowed folks - no matter where they were or what the were doing - stay in the game of bidding.

It was wonderful for fundraising and generating revenue for our nonprofit.

The fact that it is "free" with the option for buyers to pay a % to help cover the cost is a game changer for a small event such as ours.

The only major complaint or change that I would suggest is that there be a way to download all the flyers for all the items into one document to print them.

I would certainly consider using WinningBidder.com again for our future fundraisers or events.

Wish there were more lower cost trips and experiences available.

Paying $1000 for an auction that brings in a total of $3000 is a steep cost for small fundraisers.

Can have the auction running for longer and bidders don't have to be present at the event.
