As a counter person/service advisor my biggest complaint is the lack of auto-fill.

I like that the program is cloud based for ease of connecting to what's going on in my business if I am not physically in the shop. I also like the parts ordering integration.

We have recommended them to a couple other shops. Our customers love the fact that they see what our mechanics see with pictures and videos.

Lack of reporting, inventory control and transferring, lack of permissions for larger shops.

It has improved our shop flow and we find we are providing better, more focused service because we have freed ourselves from the drudgery of old, not very workable software.

I love being able to clearly communicate with the customer the process from start to finish. Pictures, videos or imported files from diagnostic equipment promote full transparency.

Overall, I like Shop-Ware despite the learning curve that is with any new system. The web based search features are great once you have the system established.

I would say their integration with Snap On's Shop Key is probably one of the most important and best selling features for me.

Parts Manager

No way to seach for license plate without knowing full plate (that I know of ). Cannot add parts to an order after it is started (this one is very annoying).

Shop ware is very intuitive and user friendly, It makes communication with customers  seamless and keeps things transparent.

I can not break down labor cost by technician. This is again frustrating because the labor cost is NOT ACCURATE on any one ticket or job on a given ticket.
