What is Access Roundsman?
Roundsman is a suite of applications written for and used in the food and dairy delivery industry. The software has three solutions; the back-office depot management system, the driver's delivery app, and the customer portal on web or app.
The depot system manages customers, prices, orders, invoices and payments. Orders can be both ad-hoc and set up as a standing order. Ordered items are placed on rounds which are sent to the delivery driver app or can be printed as a route sheet. If the Back-office system is integrated with the driver app then users will be able to track the live progress of each round.
The app covers the delivery driver's day from vehicle checks through to proof of delivery. Drivers can record breakages, returns, future order amendments and payments. There are many optional controls and restrictions that can be implemented.
There is a stock control module available which also has a supplementary depot app. This makes it simpler to know how much of each product is available and create alerts when stock is low. The app turns stock takes into a quick and efficient process.
A built-in sales ledger produces detailed aged debts and statement runs. There are several existing integrations with third party data feeds for importing and exporting data. Roundsman can also send credit control data, such as balances, by SMS or email.
There a many reporting options, standard and customised. Data exports are available and can be opened via Microsoft Excel.
The online customer portal enables users to view and amend their orders. They can view their account balance, obtain statements and copy invoices, and view delivery history. All customers can make payments using either SagePay or PayPal.
