I love this product and would highly recommend it to anyone with a small sales team and limited budget. It gives you what the big data providers like discover.org and zoominfo provide at a very reasonable rate. The tools and features it offers are exactly what a small team can use and build on. I am sure there is a lot more to this product that I am still learning. But in 35+ years of sales back ground, I wish Apollo would have been around years ago.
Apollo provides a large database of information on companies and their people. You are given external links to other systems like LinkedIN for cross referencing data. You have the ability to segment this data by region, market, number of employees, etc. etc. One you have created a prospect list you can begin working that list through a direct email campaign. I use the sequence to turn cold leads into...
My only complaint regarding Apollo is not always being able to log directly into the system. Sometimes I have to reset my password to log in, but those steps are easy and happen quickly so not down for long.

It's been a fulfilling experience, updates to the platform are constant, so it's always performing well. I'd recommend this personally for anyone who has many different systems and CRMs, as this is almost a perfect all-in-one.
Using Apollo Vs. using something like salesforce allows for a much more simplified experience, less headaches, and overall higher team productivity. It's ability to track team performance allows us to see what our colleagues are doing and improve using proven strategies. It usually doesn't go down, when it does, Customer Support is ready to take action almost immediately. The built-in dialer is one of the best i've used, I would even advised using Apollo for this feature alone as opposed to other VOIPs. It features local numbers as well as personalized numbers as well, and you can virtuallu call any country.
The main Con is Lead Sourcing. Apollo does have it's own pool that generally gets updated, but I wouldn't recommend this software to gather leads from, like with Zoominfo. The times it does go down, though scarce, can be lenghty some times, slowing down workflow for several hours.

Overall very good and especially easy for our inbound sales team to use with sales communication.
Easy viewing of all functions in one screen. Able to start and customize workflows very easily.
Integration with some of our existing systems could be difficult. That might have been partially due to them being legacy systems

This tool paired with LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a 1-2 punch to help grow your outbound sales. Their chrome extension for LinkedIn is top notch!
Ability to bulk select and complete tasks, task closing is a bit clunky.

As a Sales Executive, truly loved the ability to manage sequences for inbound and outbound activities. Best way to work smarter, not harder.
Loved the sequencing set up. Simple and effective.
Integration with Salesforce went well. Interface with Hubspot for marketing and Salesforce for sales had some difficulties.

Excellent. I prospected and closed deals using Apollo. Good salesforce integration.
I like Apollo. It’s a direct competitor to most Outreach tools and really does a nice job of keeping everything organized and in structured view. I used Apollo to prospect and cold call, and it has an amazing feature to search companies globally within the app and prospect (think ZoomInfo, but integrated). A lot of my coworkers had occasional bugs with it but I really enjoyed using the tool and would totally purchase it again.
Sometimes it was buggy. Sometimes contact info was not correct. A lot of times I found old prospect info of someone who hadn’t worked at the company for 4+ years.

Great for drip email campaigns. There is flexibility to track call and/or email campaigns. Great for outbound marketing.

Apollo allows sales teams to find the ideal clients, reach out to them and engage them to connect and sign up. What else does a sales team need?
Apollo provides the full solution of features that SDRs can benefit from, ranging from leads to emailing to analytics. For the advanced users there are many ways to automate and customize processes, and the team is available to help as needed, including taking feedback and improve the product itself.
Because of the many functionalities Apollo offers, there are a lot of screens and options which can be overwhelming for an admin, but it's something the team is working on and already partly addressed.

I needed volume of contacts with verified emails and Apollo more than delivers.
1. Sales navigator integration! 2. I run sales navigator searches on a persona and then export to Apollo. I would say over 90% have verified emails...less on phones. 3. I also use Hub SPot and integration was easy.
I have not investigated too much but i think USA is their strength and they dont have all the countries I may have been interested in. Still need to verify.

Generating precise leads for the sales pipeline works quickly and smoothly.
The user experience and user interface are hands down the best in terms of SaaS design, which makes it a breeze to use this service; from easy-to-use layouts to logical information architecture, tasks are easily completed.
A dark theme could be useful for some of us.

Overall this is an excellent product and empowers sales team greatly.
The sequencing features are great, and the analytics provide excellent visibility.
A little pricey, and the prospecting is clunky at times. Overall very few complaints, could not be happier with the product.

Apollo is an amazing tool that I use on regular basis to help me with my lead generation. It comes in handy to many marketing and sales folks and plays a big part in running sales campaigns.
Apollo is my go-to tool for any lead generation request, it helps to ease up my process of finding prospects' email IDs and phone numbers. I can get all the details in a single click. The Email IDs I obtain are more authentic and validated ones compared to other tools.
The paid feature is very costly and the UI/UX of navigation between pages of the free trial isn't that user-friendly.

I like that it provides all the tools that I need for competitive and business analysis which directly helps my company in sales operation. From the time I purchased this tool till now, it decreased the amount of time I use in sales and market research task.
1. The tool is a bit complex to understand at first because of the vast features which are good but I think there should be a little bit of improvement in user experience. 2. When Apollo shifted from ZenProspect, after that I faced a lot of issues while using the tool like wrong information while applying filters, requesting contacts, sequence report data. But Apollo addressed those issue and improving it continuously.

It has been a nice experience. The platform is easy to use and brings more mobile and email data to our contacts. However, it has been a burden to deal with the duplicated records that are being created
Easy to set up, user-friendly, low pricing, integration with Salesforce, Outreach and LinkedIn (including Sales Navigator), good support.
The data provided is not always the most up to date (at least, versus LinkedIn), susceptible to create duplicated records in the CRM, the records don't sync from Salesforce to Apollo
