			                                                       These products try and give you a way to organize secrets and the secret is, a password is a great example, of course, but there are also other types of secrets. That could be a certain picture you don't want leaked out, some sort of other security code, something like that. As well as handling one time use codes that are used to secure websites and other IT services with two factor authentication.
			                                                       1Password is best for team-based environments, where you want something that has a rock solid usability experience and fantastic security. You can go to the 1Password website and find all sorts of fascinating white papers for the security minded, talking about how their stuff works on the backend. But on the UI side of things, 1Password has a very sleek, sophisticated, kind of Mac-like user experience. So it's kind of the complete package in my opinion.
			                                                       Keeper Business is good if you want to limit your costs. If you want to have something that meets the bare minimum security and usability perspective, without really going a lot overboard. There are add-ons to Keeper Business, you can pay on to make it more full featured, but in my opinion, they're not really worth the cost. So I would say use it as sort of a minimum viable product versus something else.
			                                                       Getting started with these programs was both fairly easy. It was just a matter of what am I coming from? They both have migration assistants that are designed to simplify the process of getting your stuff out of product A and into their product. So in the case of Keeper Business, I was able to export my info from LastPass Enterprise and get that imported into Keeper relatively painlessly. From there, getting things into 1Password was fairly straightforward as well. I was able to export information from Keeper, put that into 1Password, get that organized without too, too much trouble, again.
			                                                       If you're looking for this type of software, I would say consider the usability experience as a whole. Keeper is good if you want something that's very basic, very inexpensive, and I haven't heard of any security incidents with them. But the overall usability is not where it needs to be. There are a lot of little things in Keeper that just need to be dealt with that haven't been dealt with. Great example, in Keeper, you can't have a password record be owned by a group, it has to be owned by a person. I work on a fairly large team, and so trying to make sure that everybody in the team owns the product is basically impossible in Keeper. In 1Password, it's a lot easier. You can have a group of people that own a certain set of passwords or other secrets.
