For example, I have a couple of programs (including Macrium) that occasionally lose their key settings files on one of my computers. If I can't restore in a simpler way, I can restore the last good copy from a backup with a minimum of fuss, seeing & even opening the file(s) in question before restore.

I can rely on the fact that I can always restore my image to different to a different machine using the bare metal restore feature.

I have to be honest with you, there isnt really much to dislike about a piece of software that makes cloning an imaging a breeze.

That's kind of understandable because you don't want to have what you think is a backup but is just random noise on some disk sectors, but it is useful to be able to complete the backup anyway and know some of it might be flaky - better to have some data than none at all, and typically in this case you might be trying to save a drive that is failing.

Maybe the fact that the rescue media takes a few minutes to create?

I can create a master "backup" file of the source and "restore" it to many targets.  

There would be intermittent blue screens whenever you plugged in a USB external drive while it was doing its 30–60-minute backup.

Each year I get a new machine, and I'm able to migrate everything on my current machine to my new one, it has worked great for five or six years now.

Reflect is probable the most important software that I use to ensure my business will always remain in operation as long as I have my data in-tact.

I haven't read the specs so I don't know what changes were made, but I'll probably switch to the new version even if it's only available as a subscription product.

Simple answer, It has not yet let me down in restoring a backup to a PC or server when it has been necessary to do so.
