Forcepoint Web Security overview

What is Forcepoint Web Security?

Forcepoint Web Security is a network security software designed to help businesses in finance, healthcare, retail, and other sectors gain visibility and control of cloud applications and data using CASB functionality. The data loss prevention (DLP) engine enables IT professionals to prevent data leaks and detect criminally encrypted files.

Forcepoint Web Security provides organizations with protection against web threats including viruses, malware, data loss, and phishing attacks. Administrators can utilize the content engine to analyze web page content, active scripts, web links, contextual profiles, and other files in real-time. It also helps IT teams monitor HTTPS traffic using SSL inspection capabilities, ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance. The application can either be deployed on-premise or hosted in the cloud.

Forcepoint Web Security includes an integrated data theft defense module, which allows stakeholders to automatically detect and intercept data theft attempts for optical character recognition within images. Other features include real-time data classification, policy management, reputation analysis, predictive analytics, behavioral sandboxing, reporting, and more.
