Pros

It doesn't slow the computer down any more than the other software I've used and it's good for anyone from beginner to expert. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a good paid virus software.
This helps keep your computer more secure and is especially good for remote work. It helps give peace of mind if your work involves sensitive data.
It is a nice software to use to protect my computer from any viruses. I also liked how it is very simplistic and user friendly so I am not confused on what is happening with my computer.

Pros

Malwarebytes is seamless to integrate, extremely affordable, and protects our systems better than more expensive options.
It is very easy to use and there is a wealth of information on the internet to help with any new threats. This is my top recommendation for any essential software on computers and tablets.
Malwarebytes offered a stable, reliable and affordable solution for us while we used it. We ultimately moved away from it to Sophos.

Cons

There are sometimes that it may prevent you also from installing something on your computer that has no harm on your computer and detect it as a harmful app.
The smaller threats get through the program, raising hell in the computer, disabling the user to continue productively.
Sometimes I have experienced system slowness which is quite irritating at times. Also getting the update popups everytime is quite annoying.

Cons

The critical issue for me is if the do the job without being annoying. Some of them seem to bring up warning windows so often that I get tired of them.
When at a user's computer, we are unable to view logs while at that computer and instead have to go login to the UI at the IT desk to view those logs which is inconvenient.
Lack of a feature to inspect emails and there is no option for a quick scan.

McAfee Endpoint Security for Network protection

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

We have been using McAfee Endpoint Security for a few years now. This has helped us prevent infection from different types of malware. This coupled with McAfee’s encryption has really kept us safe and secure in our everyday practices with users. The management controls are vast and you are able to have a lot of functionality with a server based management system. The multiple step protection process from entry of data into our network all the way to the “sandbox” has worked really well for us.

Cons

Occasionally, malware will slip through undetected and McAfee’s scanner won’t pick it up. Malwarebytes free scanner for after the fact infection is still used for system cleanup.

DO NOT USE. McAfee's old and outdated and jank; use Windows Defender or MalwareBytes and CCleaner

Reviewed 5 years ago

I spend more time uninstalling it than anything else. It's bad software and we need to kill it with fire.

Pros

It's so bad. Uninstall and use other free antivirus. Install Malwarebytes and CCleaner, two free amazing antivirus programs, that work so much better. McAfee's dead! Get it outta here!

Cons

See above. McAfee is old and outdated and bad, and should be retired immediately. It used to be good, but now it's crap.

Good security, but not perfect

Reviewed 4 years ago

McAfee has been a good security software for a while. The computers using this have not been impacted by any sort of ransomware or malware. One of our other offices did not use this and downloaded some ransomware that almost cost us years of files, but we contacted an emergency IT team who solved the problem and recommended better security.

Pros

* We can use one account for all of the computers at our offices, so no need to buy individual licenses/programs for each one * Established program that is always updating and trying to stay ahead

Cons

* No security program is perfect. There are some threats that definitely go undetected by this. I use this in conjunction with a few free tools from Malwarebytes to keep all of the computers free of problems

It is a very good security software with Pros- 1. Good amount of features built-in. 2. The interface is clean and easy to use. 3. Mcafee always gets Good scores in Lab tests 4. One may use mcafee endpoint security with products like Malwarebytes to ensure almost no chance of being infected. 5. Catches PUP's Cons- 1. The detection rate is good but doesn't catch all the threats and one has to use on demand scanners like Malwarebytes, zemana anti-malware etc.

Pros

Good UI PUP detection Good scores in lab tests

Cons

Should have more detection capabilties as it doesn't catch all the threats in the wild

I do not like to use McAfee due to it causing other software on my PC to not work properly.

Pros

I do not like that it makes a lot of my other software not work properly and sometimes seems to act like Malaware itself. This seems to be counter productive for security measures.

Endpoint works to help keep our whole network secure.

One of the best protection solutions

McAfee Endpoint Security is wonderful anti malware protection tool. I appreciate its all services that are being provided for our data protection. I would say it is remarkable product that I have ever used.

Pros

It has been long time using McAfee Endpoint Security solution. It keeps our devices secure and provides us great protection. According to my experience with this endpoint protection solution it is providing the best security management services in the software market. The best thing that I like most, it does not makes my devices slow like other security solutions and scan very smartly with its powerful features.

Cons

I always feel secure because it saves our business for harm attacks and risks. It fights against virus and gives protected services. For cons I do not have anything to complain about. It is giving great results.

Malwarebytes for Business

Very effective endpoint protection, without noticeably affecting computer performance

Reviewed 5 years ago

We were looking for a "one-stop" solution for endpoint security/Anti-virus protection, and Malwarebytes fit the bill perfectly. With just a browser in the US, we can -- on a moment's notice -- initiate a full system scan of a machine in Sydney, Australia. Having the piece-of-mind that comes with knowing every device on our network is protected by best-of-breed endpoint security is worth its weight in gold.

Pros

I like the ability to run scans remotely, the ease with which I can create remotely deploy the software to new nodes on our network. We set up a mailbox to monitor infected machines, and check it regularly. It makes the job of our IT Manager so much easier. The reporting is good but not stellar, allowing us to quickly pinpoint vulnerabilities and do remediation before the problem becomes unmanageable.

Cons

Filtering policies can be touchy. If you are too aggressive in setting them up, you can block traffic you never intended to block. We did this and literally killed connectivity between our desktops and our online accounting app. Ouch. Be careful and test before deploying a web-filter policy.

Malwarebytes for Business

I have never had more faith in an antiviral program than this one

Reviewed 9 months ago

The user appreciates how the unified security platform has improved cyber-security and allowed faster endpoint remediation. Throughout our time using Malwarebytes for Business, the primary function of threat detection has proven useful. The solution provides a very effective layer of protection against various cyber threats. It makes it easier to monitor the security of many individual devices centrally. As it allows for a thorough evaluation of computer health and enables efficient mitigation of internal and external cyber threats, the aforementioned cyber security technology is highly recommended for multi-department enterprises.

Pros

This security precaution has been adopted company-wide to protect the devices and the company's critical information. The program has excellent threat detection capabilities, outperforming several other solutions. In addition, the interface is straightforward, making it easy to understand and use. It protects against malware such as viruses, spyware, ransomware, and other cyber dangers. We particularly like that the program has a centralized control panel from which we can run scans, updates, and other tasks remotely.

Cons

The device is pricey and can occasionally cause a significant drain on system resources, which can lead to a slowdown in overall computer performance.

Excellent product for your home, SMB and Enterprise. Tried the software a number of years ago when it was yet simple, but very powerful and it did an excellent job at catching all sort of things on your systems. Nowadays, cybersecurity is something that nobody can afford to ignore and Malwarebytes delivers really well with tons of different option to meet your needs. Glad to use the product that is stable over the years and continues to improve.

Pros

Malwarebytes is your one stop endpoint solution with constant updates and improvements.

Cons

None really. Was waiting for iOS & Android versions to come out and they got that covered now!

Big Fan Of Malwarebytes

Reviewed 3 years ago

I am very happy being a Malwarebytes customer and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Pros

We have been using one version of Malwarebytes or another for years and have been satisfied with how it keeps our endpoints safe. The latest version is cloud-based so clients can get updates even if they aren't plugged into our network. The management portal is easy to use.

Cons

I wish the updates to the endpoint software were more automatic and didn't always require reboots.

A valuable tool for IT professionals

Reviewed a year ago
Pros

Simple to use, and the interface is easy to navigate. Real-time protection is a bonus. It is compatible with popular browsers like Edge, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.

Cons

Instead of having two separate options. The Endpoint Detectionand Response plan should be the only option to choose.

Full featured package that is competitively priced, has not become bloated or overpriced.

Pros

Has morphed into Endpoint Protection along with some other features. I like being able to deploy and manage from cloud based console.

Cons

Sometime will cause firewall issues that you have to manually sort out.

Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection Keeps My PC's Protected From Malware Attacks.

Reviewed 3 years ago

My overall experience with Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection is that it has always caught any malware attacks during the last 7 years that I have used it.

Pros

What I like most about Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection is that it guards my PC's in real time reducing threats from malware attacks.

Cons

What I like least about Malwarebytes Endpoint Protections is that sometimes it will block a valid website I need to access. When that happens I set an exception for that site.

Trusted everywhere.

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

This software comes in handy every time we need to eliminate the possibility of an endpoint having any malware. It's always updating new definitions.

Cons

Too many user prompts. A centralized console that would hide notifications to non-administrator users would come handy.

The only choice for malware removal

Reviewed 4 years ago

Malwarebytes has made it possible to resist threats which otherwise would have no barrier in our organization.

Pros

It consistently find threats that other endpoint protection applications miss. I can always rely on a Malwarebytes scan to clear a PC after an incident.

Cons

It is frustrating to have to purchase two products for security. Usually it has to be installed as a one-off as needed instead of as an active protection.

Great lightweight scanning

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

Great cloud based admin console means I can push out settings to all or certain groups of machines easily without having to touch each computer, SUPER lightweight scanner, doesn't slow down computer at all

Cons

I wish the cloud console had more settings, like scheduling updates or more granular exclusion settings, but with how unobtrusive the endpoint service is I can't complain

Excellent scanner and removal tool

Reviewed 5 years ago

Malwarebytes is an answer to the problem of effective anti-malware with a low impact on system performance.

Pros

The scanner is extremely thorough and is usually the only product that will find all of the traces of malware or a potentially unwanted program. It removes hard-to-remove malware, and rarely come up with a false positive. Another great feature is that it quarantines rather than deletes, and lets you save a log of what's been removed.

Cons

There's not much to dislike, it's a great product. The endpoint protection platform for enterprise is kind of expensive, but it does have a lot of features.
