What is Passwork?

Passwork provides an advantage of effective teamwork with corporate passwords in a totally safe environment. Employees can quickly access all their passwords, while the rights and actions are closely supervised and managed by local system administrators.

Key benefits of using Passwork

  • Passwork is a self-hosted password management solution targeting professionals, IT personnel and companies, providing structured, folder-based password storage suitable for enterprises and businesses of all sizes.

  • All data is encrypted using the AES-256 algorithm while being securely stored on your server and managed solely by system administrators. Passwork runs on PHP and MongoDB and can be installed on Windows and Linux, with or without Docker.

  • Invite your colleagues, create shared folders, and add credentials from various services. Employees can quickly find the passwords they might need, while administrators manage user rights, monitor all activities, and audit security parameters.

  • Passwork helps comply with information security requirements and automate security audits in your company. If an employee quits his job, Passwork will analyze the passwords he had access to, mark them as potentially compromised, and offer to change these passwords.

  • Configure features such as mapping LDAP groups with Passwork roles, SSO authentication, and API to seamlessly integrate Passwork into your system and adapt it to your organization’s unique processes.

  • Perform your own audit to make sure that Passwork has no vulnerabilities and fully
meets the information security requirements of your business.

  • Our technical specialists are always available to offer remote assistance with the installation and configuration of our software. Additionally, you can get a personal assistant to resolve your issues more promptly.

    Pros
Very good solution for startups (I can recommend a cloud-based version) as well as for companies with a large number of employees (in this case self-hosted edition will fit better).
We were looking for a password manager that met our needs and found a good and easy to use solution in Passwork.
Ease of use across all platforms makes it perfect for my family. No unnecessary features - just the core required to easily manage credentials.
    Cons
Different tld's are confusing. Passwork.pro passwork.me They should all point to one central tld.
Offers only 1 year licensing, too bad for agile teams. We have one free account paid, not used.
Limited search function when there are many Оrganization vaults.

Smart and easy to use password manager for business

    Reviewed 6 years ago
    Pros

My company is using Passwork for more than a year and I'm quite happy about it. Very good solution for startups (I can recommend a cloud-based version) as well as for companies with a large number of employees (in this case self-hosted edition will fit better). Had some questions — support was really fast and friendly. Pricing is very nice as well.

    Cons

Passwork is not so famous as LastPass or 1Password, maybe someone will consider it as a disadvantage. But for me it's not a problem at all — I will always choose not so hyped software, but with great features, good support and for the reasonable price.

    Excellent team password organization

    Reviewed a year ago
    Pros

Passwork works well for our purposes of managing a very large collection of shared passwords across our team, while allowing external 3rd parties access to share and view shared records. Password organization and structure are clear and easy to use.

    Cons

Although all our required features exist and work well at their core, the UI is often confusing. Editing access permissions on objects is not intuitive, so carefully testing and documenting process has been critical for us.

    Password Manager for Teams

    Reviewed 2 months ago
    Pros

Passwork is rather easy to setup and start implementing to an existing environment. The LDAP and Role management allowed us to move existing access rights. Also the constant updates and visibility of future features helps grow the trust into this company.

    Cons

The browser plugin works and is functional everything we wanted but feels like it could use some more love.

    passwork as password manager

    Reviewed 2 months ago
    Pros

I like that you can host it yourself and have complete control over where it stores it's data.

    Cons

The auto complete browser plugins are not as well designed as some of the competition.
