SimpleMDM is a mobile device manager for organizations that need to manage a large number of corporate or employee owned Apple devices including iPhones, iPads, and computers running macOS. The platform enables users to deploy enterprise and volume purchase apps, initialize devices in bulk, and get greater control with iOS supervision features.

Organizations are able to secure company assets and data by hiding apps, blocking features and disabling functionality, to requiring passcodes, disabling dangerous iOS features, and more. SimpleMDM enables users to track real time and historic device location, enable lost mode on supervised devices, and view device locations on a map. Users can also get asset details such as battery life, storage capacity, serial numbers, iOS versions, and more.

Apple’s device enrollment program (VPP) and volume purchase program (DEP) allow users to purchase Apple devices that are preconfigured for SimpleMDM and supervision. Organizations are able to buy and install enterprise, custom B2B, and App Store apps on all devices at the corporate level, with or without using Apple IDs. The platform handles Apple enterprise app distribution with support for app upgrades, certificates, and provisioning profile management to prevent data from getting lost between upgrades.
