“The biggest issue with Vsphere, by far, is the remodelling of their pricing and licensing structure. Since Broadcom purchased the vendor, they have narrowed their desired client-base to a fraction of their existing market, meaning that many small and medium enterprises are left in a very difficult situation, having to choose between switching to less mature technologies, or choosing to maintain their current stack at significantly hiked price margins.”
