ZixMail includes data protection capabilities, which enable enterprises to encrypt and decrypt confidential data and attachments across emails. It offers a variety of features such as message and attachment compression, proof of delivery, multiple email servers, automated key management, and more. The application can be installed on Windows desktops, web-based email systems, and other one-site servers.
ZixMail uses ZixDirectory, an email encryption directory to automate distribution and retrieval of public encryption keys and support secure encryption and decryption of messages. It also facilitates integration with Microsoft Outlook, enabling users to send and receive encrypted emails using a dedicated button.
