Clip, on the other hand, is amazing at quickly filling areas of flat colour, and allows you to place flats on a different layer than the lineart, all while using the linework information.

I really love the features, but due to how difficult the program is to learn (or even just learning a new tool when you've used the program for years), I rarely recommend it to others.

It's not too hard to learn, but getting the brush that works just right can be tricky.

The ease of use and the ever increasing functionality for drawing is incredible!

However, the main reason I use Clip on the regular is to quickly place flat colours under my linework.

You can Open CSP files in Adobe Photoshop and vice versa.

Affinity Designer is a great alternative for vector and branding work, especially for designers who prefer a one-time license.

The newer universal license is pure gold value as you can have all 3 affinity apps for all available platforms for the cost of few months of adobe subscription (although yeah adobe suite give you a wider arrange of apps, me as a graphic designer simple need the 3 basics illustrator/photoshop/indesign, why to pay every year for apps that I don't use?).

It is easy for me to use Affinity Designer to edit PDF format documents. Both Canva and Photoshop were pretty painful to work with compared to Affinity Designer.
