Powerful Localization Platform for Collaborative Teams

It’s a powerful and reliable platform for localization projects, especially for teams working on multilingual products. Once you get used to the workflow, it significantly improves productivity and collaboration between translators, developers, and project managers.

Beyond that, you can always check the glossary (that you can also feed), and search for a specific term in the source language to see how it was translated into the target language.

the most common areas of dissatisfaction vary around the complexity of the user interface (especially for non-technical users), and the occasional glitchiness or unexpected behavior in the import/export or synchronization processes.

Additionally, the Translation Memory  and centralized glossary features are highly reliable and ensure consistency across large-scale projects.

The pricing can also feel a bit high for small teams or individual users, and the interface may feel slightly overwhelming at first due to the number of options available.

Also speaking from the perspective of a project owner rather than a translator, integrating Crowdin with my projects using their Git widgets functionality has been an absolute relief.

The bulk change function should keep the modifications in a new filter/section instead of keeping them with those to be reviewed/approved, the reason is that bulk-changed strings should be assumed as "checked/examined", keeping those together will cause confusion if no comment is left by the reviewer to single out those changed strings, but to single out overly repetitive strings, one also must click and open that string in a new page, imagine there are over 10 strings to be bulk-changed, you get the idea.

The chat function is very useful to request clarifications from the administrators of the application to be translated.

One thing I do not like very much is the fact that there aren't very advanced filters to keep track of bigger projects.

Of course, searching for info from another source is important, however Crowdin has alternatives that accelerate that process.

Mobile interaction aside, Crowdin is a great package for keep software projects with large user bases organized.

The current log also doesn't allow you to use words to search for translations.

Sometimes the automated suggestions from Crowdin or Google are not accurate enough and users still use those suggestions.

Every now and then emails arrive with strings to translate but then these are not there and therefore it wastes time.

To me as a translator and proofreader, this change has made the experience of finding a language incredibly painful.
