Easy to use shopping cart.
What I like most is that ECWID is a complete package. They have all of the services that I need to serve my customers and make money through my website. The shopping cart and catalog is nicely displayed and clearly organized. ECWID also has great support staff that responds right away and does their best to help.
I don't particularly like the font that displays on my product info in my website through the ECWID catalog, but I am not sure if it is because I have not figured out how to change it or if it's just the default font.

Loved being able to embed my shopping cart anywhere I want and a drag and drop cart is a nifty feature
Wish it had plugins like shopify does so integrations are easier. Countdowns and things like that would be a cool addition

You will really like the cart because you will get extensive cart features, deals and discounts as they are partnered heavily and integrated multiple shopping payment options.
I think if they extend to integrate with google payments, samsung payments, social streams it would attract more visibility.

Easy to use cart system that works with my sites
It's affordable, easy to use, fits seemlessly with my sites....ultimately a no brained. I also love the blogs with tips and ideas.
I only wish there was a way to create a "referral code" to credit referrals and offer discounts to those customers

There is a learning curve with ecwid. I set up a few items for my own site and it took much more time than anticipated. There is supposed to be an option to connect Ecwid with Square but I couldn't figure how, even after contacting support
Obvious answer is- it's free
A little difficult to figure out and be productive at cart creation

More time , professional looking shopping cart, which enhances my web page and ease of using
Does everything I want it to do Plus More. - looks great on my web page, is easy to use by customers and keeps track of all my sales. This shopping cart is the best available and comes with first class customer service.
Not being able to alter invoice before sending to customer. I would like to be able to insert postage costs into invoice myself, either I can't do it on the rate I am on

We love the easy clean set up. No need to hire a web site designer. The shopping cart has performed smoothly and effectively. Edwid was easy to transition to from a different shop cart the software is quickly learned as it combines common sense with clean and clear design.
Lean & easy to use
I would add a few more features, but I am glad that when they do ad new applications, they work from the start.

About a year we changed our eCommerce cart over to Ecwid... and we LOVE IT! We currently have over 1500 unique products and our catalog is constantly growing! The first daunting task we felt we had to accomplish was to pull in our entire catalog; ecwid make this a breeze! Their (almost) unlimited shopping cart tool chest is well worth the money and time for this excellent shopping cart backend! We love it and plan on staying here for many years to come!
It takes no time at all to add/ delete products
Does not update shipping tracking. Does not have an "app" for your site to give either shipping tables to tracking tools for your clients

ECWID service is great ... simple easy to use and understand and the ability to generate sales reports is awesome ... one issue is that ECWID is a 'one user' system which means that our NPO cannot have a dual control on the sales account ... this may force us to have to move to another service. We really do not want to that but we also need a multi-user interface for the account. We hope ECWID can make this happen in the near future.
Ease of use
Lack of a multi user option

I really love ecwid. Occasionally I'll look for other products just to see if I'm missing out on anything innovative but nothing ever out ranks ecwid. You get what you need to be successful even with the free plan. I love the apps and the fact that they are constantly adding more. I love all the features especially the ability to customize the smallest details. Support always responds quick and is extremely detailed and helpful. Also, they are very friendly and approachable which is awesome. Overall I'm more than satisfied with my experience. Ecwid has EVERYTHING I need even before I know I need it. Even the blog post are beneficial and detailed so I actually look at them versus other emails I just trash immediately. Ecwid is the bomb dot com.
Apps, customizing the store details, support, the ability to customize even the smallest details like how prices appear.
Inability to change social icons. Site preview on devices shows the original starter cart with the surfer dude.

I use this integrated with WordPress for my shopping cart, it was easy to install and had the functions I needed.
Fairly easy to integrate into my website and had Facebook integration which was nice!
No real complaints. Features were a little limited but for the price I can't complain

This is the best shopping cart I use from the customer experience point of view. My stores with this cart require the least amount of technical support, which means the user interface is fast, clean, and easy to figure out without support. Ecwid customer support is excellent and always available.

Ecwid is a fantastic alternative to Shopify that may not get enough exposure. A fantastic small and quick shopping cart that can easily integrate with your WP site or Facebook (some integrations may require you to be on a higher priced tier on either Ecwid or the target). Ecwid offers something extremely hard to find that should have it a household name, a free tier. While some shopping carts or larger...
Fantastic introductory features and pricing - Great bunch of features and integration - Integrates with Square - PCI compliant shopping cart for wordpress
Some integration for what would be free services are only available on higher paid tiers, which is perfectly fair, but is also a bit of a con and there is some confusion as to which tier you need to be on to unlock certain premium add-ons.

I've had my shopping cart online component going through ecwid for over a year. They are always very helpful and responsive. The features are robust and integrate well with all top 3rd party applications. If you are looking for a solid shopping cart application to run your online business, ecwid is a strong contender.

I've been with ecwid for years. It has been a great experience and easy to use. I started with the free version and as my business continues to grow I've upgraded my account twice to have access to features that grown my business even more.
I love the ease of tracking orders on my phone. I love that I can edit items on my phone and they will automatically be updated on my website. I love that the shopping cart system is easy to use for customers and if they abandon a cart they receive email reminders and sometimes coupon incentives to check out.
I do not love the lack of integration with my payanywhere payment system. so i have to do 2 separate accounting. . . but they do intergrate with clover which i no longer have.

I find it easy to use and implement into WordPress.
The user interface is straight forward, modern, and clean. The product is well thought out and has a smaller learning curve than some other cart solutions.
There is a cost to using this product that will be problematic for a lot of users. They aren't asking anything extreme, however. The pricing is fair, but there are other options at less, or no cost. It all depends on what one wants to do.

Hi, I first joined ECWID back in 2011 after shopping around and discovering their innovative approach to shopping cart software. The price is very competitive and being able to build my business across a number of different websites simultaneously by the unique ability copy and paste your shop code to any website page anywhere really won me over. Since then they have not let up with a feature set that...
Loading speed. Good design. Shopping cart can be respawned anywhere easily. Ease of use & features including share buttons, shipping calculated already, easy product uploads and editing etc.
Needs a free upsell app. eBay integration is not yet available for eBay Australia. I had lots of difficulty integrating with Adwords.
