Our commitment

Independent research methodology

Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.

Verified user reviews

GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.

Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.

How GetApp ensures transparency

GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Pros

“It´s a great utility to make videos and promote yourself, by doing an introduction and explain your job role and by adding it for example in your email footnote, people can click on your Hippo Video link and se your presentation.”

Jaime C.

Customer Success Manager

“First of all I like the fact that you can personalize a video message that is not a large file and know if the client has actually opened your email, watched your video, how much they watched, etc. ”

Eduardo A.

Account Executive

“I like that I can record videos on any browser or machine due to the easy app and Chrome extension support.”

Saud S.

Product Support Engineer

Pros

“Simply put, if someone wants to host a video on it, they need to promote it and drive traffic to it themselves, as there are no tools for increasing visibility apart from one’s own website and social media.”

Bruno M.

Marketing Executive Intern

“Vimeo’s clean interface and ad-free experience make it my video platform of choice. If it had a more robust search feature I’d use it even more than I do now.”

Craig C.

Consultant of Continuous Improvement

“Vimeo has been essential to our business. When creating personalised videos for clients we've needed a hub, where these videos can be stored and viewed effortlessly.”

Hayden R.

Graphic Designer

Cons

“So a full online training day is still impossible to be recorded, unfortunately. If I record 1+ hour recording, I can't stop it and instantly make a new recording because the browser is still sending data to database and then processing recording.”
