I think the text-to-video only work for generic clips, videos with "purpose" don't come very well, images choosen by the AI are to generic, and if I have to edit it myself I prefer using cupcat or canva.

The pictures it chooses for the video 95% of the time match perfectly with the contents of the blog.

I teste lumen5 for some months with a client or two, they liked it and used for a bit, but then it was to expensive, and there was to much extra work to do so that the videos came out with a purpose.

Overall I'm happy but I miss more templates and pre-built elements.

The least liking factor about this tool is that when you convert the blog post into a video you cannot change the content in the blog, it only fetch the result in the URL or the content you have published.

I am not going to use it, and there are too many emails sent by the team promoting but not focused on the main product that needs significant improvements.

Some people complain about posting something with watermarks, but that doesn't bother me, I think if I'm using something from a brand, it's because it's being useful.

The AI component is not desirable as it does not relate to the script you uploaded.

There is a watermark with the free plan, but that's not an issue. If that's a problem you can always upgrade.

The videos look great, if you make a balance between the time invested and the result is a big win.

The audio effects are good for volume levels etc. but I tend to use NCH AudioPad to mix and manipulate my sounds then import it into VideoPad, as expected they complement etc. other.

Only have a few problems with VideoPad was the reverse video clip facility which didn't work until you exported your video file so I didn't think it was working but I used this feature recently and it did work within the VideoPad review.

As a real estte broker, making videos and uploading it in Social Media is one of the main tool to make you more visible, Videopad helped me alot with my work.

It does not boast an extensive array of animations, and some are bit cheesy.

I would open previously edited videos later in Videopad, and they would lag, the video would inexplicably be in black and white, and it would be impossible to continue to edit given the quality of the video.

I haven't had any security issues with any NCH products and I have quite a few.

So although editing videos is still not my favorite thing to do, editing them on VideoPad is a solid 8 out of 10. If you are just dipping your toes into video editing, and are not yet ready to shell out the big bucks for more professional software, I think you will be pleasantly surprised with VideoPad, it is well worth the money.

Once I got used to the layout, it is very easy to use and you can make some impressive videos.

I didnt' really know about video editing when I started.  

This may have changed, I don't know, as I say, I'm more than happy with the lifetime package I've got decades ago.

In summary, although VideoPad is a respectable video editing software, it has some drawbacks such as limited free version, stability issues, and some features that are difficult for beginners to understand.

Possibly it could do with additional fx in the audio section but that is a minor issue.

The free version is somehow limited, but is expected, the final version is awesome and has everything that you could need

I often will unlink the file from the video, save it as a separate file and edit it in WavePad and finally bring it back to VideoPad and replace the original file.
