I loved Salsify, but we recently switched to a different platform that provides the same services (with a few more features) at about 25% of the cost. If the price was more palatable, I would recommend Salsify to anyone needing a PIM/DAM.

Channel integration at source depends obviously in your data sources.

Lastly, I would say that Salsify is not worth the $35,000/year Minimum price tag that they want you to sign up for (Plus the required partner minimum of around $16k).

I am able to instantly push product data and to Shopify and our WMS has saved me hours in time and also virtually eliminates inconsistancies in the data between systems.

We handle a high volume of images, and they all need uniform filenames.

The biggest challenge for us involves image uploads.

It has an easy learning curve, even for teams that aren't tech-savvy, and offers great value compared to other platforms on the market.

There are not enough checks and balances for my liking.

The Shopify publishing can be a bit tricky (at least, a bit trickier than the Salsify publishing into Shopify).

I would highly recommend Plytix to anyone needing to store images and data.
