For those looking for a way of producing great quality videos, blender is the key in editing. Once you learn how to use it, the results you get are remarkable.
The hotkeys no longer work/are not the same. Unable to create/edit anything because unable to figure out how everything works, even with the guide.
Blender has been amazing as my software for 3D animations. The power that it offers while remaining completely free is excellent.
The only problem which i have faced while using blender it is hard to understand the interface without a proper course or tutorials.
This is an amazing software that allows me to make ANY character for my Video Game Creations, and even for Video Game Mods. Has multiple save file options and has amazing sculpting assets.
It was absolutely awful to try to figure out the tools. Very cumbersome, not intuitive at all; would have multiple layers of buttons and controls needed to perform a simple function.
I liked that it was free and there were a lot of videos on the web to help explain how to accomplish tasks.
But i have to keep typing. Sorry for wasting space.
You will not find a better group of people to help you grow then in the 3D software Community and that is also true with Blender. The software is great and the Community is Strong.
Boolean merge has also some issues where sometimes unity or some other functions achieve merge in the end - confusing.
Excellent 3D modeling tools, a great program for those who want to create animations. You can usually find many free templates to build or use as placeholders.
The integration of this product was difficult to navigate at first. Having come from an After Effects background, there was a huge leaerning curve to figure out the software interface and tools.
I enjoy the ease of use Blender has for beginners and experts alike. It is also great for creating Game Characters from scratch.
So many tutorials and a great community. The tools are being used more by alot of big studios, so its important for your resume to know.
A good alternative to Cinema 4D if you don't have the money for that, and has a lot of useful bells and whistles if you know how to utilize them.
Cycles is quite good and you can get same quality as in commercial packages.
Support for 3rd party extensions allows for more advanced modeling and rendering supporting Production quality work an a small budget.
The large integration of the design and rendering tools that this software provides, is the strongest point in my opinion.

It also has a great value as it is free so long as you aren't making any kind of profit from the games you produce.
The only thing I don't like about Unity is how it lags sometimes and when it lags, it lags way to much.
It is easy to learn with great tutorials. Also, the Unity Asset Store is full of great assets that are very inexpensive to let you make games entirely by yourself if you'd like.
The user interface is overloaded, which can be annoying. Managing navigation and organisation can be difficult.
Also it is very ease to use in general and it is good Software for beginners ( like myself ) in game development.
The missing features in Unity according ti me are. Integration of disparate technologies to built up applications.
Unity is the best tool for software engineers, designers, and developers looking to build mobile and web games with great success.
Web Deployment: Web Deployment is still not satisfactory as Web builds need to be of small size and run on mobile browsers too, both in which Unity fails.
My experience with Unity has so far been fantastic, and I can honestly recommend it to anyone who wants to make games.
The community is also amazing and would help you with resources. There are ready made packages for 3D models and animations that you can use to incorporate in your video game.
I love the user interface and after a short time invested into getting used to the program its really pleasant to use. Program itself is fast and not resource hungry.
In addition, having possibility to use this kind of super Software via free version ( for Students for example ) is most welcoming thing.
Unity is one of the best game engines in the market with easy to use interface and a vast community for helping out.
It is a wonderful tool to learn and master, and with AR and VR seeping into mainstream apps and games, learning Unity seems to be a valuable skill for anyone to gain.
There is also a strong community presence that share knowledge and help readily.
This is by far Unity's greatest strength. Learning Curve, UI/UX : Anyone can easily pick up Unity, and get started on making simple stuff really quickly.
It is also probably the #1 engine overall in XR. Also the recent integration of Bolt visual scripting provides a useful code free visual scripting experience for people who don't want to deal with C.
Integration with the Asset Store allows anyone to choose from thousands of development-ready files, and provides a lot of them completely free of charge.

Super affordable price for the value, speed and quality of operation, stability, all that with a great model library always growing.
File management is a problem. I have a server to store my files and projects but it doesn't work well over a network.
And the interior lightings are way better than I expected. Also, the assets library is super cool, specially my favorites are trees and plants since I'm more into the exteriors.
Problems always happen while trying to download some 3d models from the library.
I liked the most its ease of use, very simple interactive program with easy to use interface, very good library and excelent visualisations render engine.
Software should have a PBR advanced configuration menu. Still missing a viewcube to chosse isometric views.
What is fantastic about the application is that even in its early stages, the programme gave a very good result, and this is now even better as the developers have made many improvements.
Lost little details quality in video rendering, but that's not crucial in my opinion because I'm static rendering user more than animation.
Using D5 render has enabled me to save a huge amount of time on my work and produce fantastic quality renders.
I think D5 has come up with very smart solutions to integrate AI and I also think updates with the caustics effect or the new camera tool are great. I really like using it and I will be in the future.
I'm glad I switched from V-ray to D5 render - the quality of renders is similar, the speed is many times higher, the interface is simpler, the performance is much more stable.
Excellent software that is easy to use and cost effective for its price.
The value for money is the best thing. Constant updates, bug fixes and a great response to the community make this the most go-to rendering software these days.
The library and community, but mostly Image quality is very good.
Quick renderings with high quality and a big and good library.
Library, ease of use, render quality. It gives us the fastest way to get great renders.
Helps me to create most beautiful result in seconds.
Ease of use, simple interface, rapid rendering, stable operation.

Fusion 360, I believe, is the best tool in its price range for 3D modeling. It is very affordable, and for the price, very powerful.
Some specific issues with parametric modeling were noticed by me. I also noticed some problems with fillets around curves.
I loved that it worked on my mac. I wound up winning two national awards while in school with designs I created on Fusion 360.
Continous updates and patches are released frequently. Some times this becomes annoying.
Fusion 360 had been really easy to learn and easy to use. The ability to have updated geometry transfer to existing geometries is super helpful.
The user interface at first can be a bit confusing, and there's a lot of unlabeled buttons that take time getting used to.
Customer service is fantastic and very prompt. They do a very good job of making sure that you are integrating to exactly your needs.
It run on cloud so you have to have an internet connection for using this. Learning can be difficult for the beginners.
It consists of many features and is not a heavy software comparing it to other cad softwares. It has always worked wonderful for me with easy usage of tools and is quite is easy to learn and explore.
And everything is saved to the cloud so it's super easy to keep track of your files and switch between devices.
Overall, it is worth the price of admission and is a great package to have with features that far out weigh the competition.
Clearly the best 3D design software for engineering-type applications. Insanely powerful parametric modeling.
Its a great software for rapid prototyping and product development. Being a cloud based software is the most extreme advantage.
The tools/commands are well labeled and represented. The work space is clean and nice.
It is best suitable for mechanical industry. Online tutorials can be found so using this is not that difficult.
There is also an active community that is great at answering questions, and a lot of YouTube tutorials put out by Autodesk and others that fully explore Fusion 360's functionality.
I like how you don't need a specific or high end graphics card to access the functionality. I also enjoy the fact that you can do work in any location and switch locations very easily.
Overall what i enjoyed the most was version control feature and the electronic design feature integrated into the software.

The best part of this software is its user interface, it's really easy to use and learn for someone using it for the first time. It's a great tool for 3D Animation and really good quality renderings.
There is no edit feature inside of the program and the working area is limited to 2km to 2km making working with large landscapes difficult.
Great quality of textures and great quality of scenes. The best feature of this software is landscaping and the rendering of walkthrough.
Also, its interface can be confusing sometimes.
It saves time for creating superb animation walkthroughs/flythroughs and stunning images.
I guess the main thing I dislike is the fact that you cant use more than one computer to render in a network. Also you cant use the software in more than one computer at the same time.
And it creates amazing Quality pictures for showing to clients, posters and all printable media.
Forms site that we import ,I cannot put it precisely in place I must put digital coordinates. It bothers me that he cannot model.
Changing the environmental conditions, weather and landscape, is easy to accomplish and interesting for the over whole rendering result without spending hours to do it.
This software has amazing rendering abilities. The newer version has a very large "animated" library that gives life to any building model we've got.
LumiOn has a very good learning curve as it is easy to learn and has very intuitive tools.
Ease of use and the ability to integrate into workflow quite easily. You can produce way faster than with traditional rendering softwares.
LimiOn's library of native resources is great, very diverse, varied and almost complete.
Photo rendering effects (shadows, contrast, reflection, water…) create a more realistic render without difficulties and video rendering features are easy to use and give a remarkable outcome.
Doesn't fulfill my expectations on 3D renderings. You have to invest a lot on a great video card if you want to have a good experience.
It is a wonderful and fast program that does not cost much time, although there are some shortcomings. I wish for more success and development.

It is a wonderful and fast program that does not cost much time, although there are some shortcomings. I wish for more success and development.

I love the quality of the materials that you can get with V-ray, the details on things like wood or concrete are incredible.
The Object mapping is a little confusing it took a while for me to figure out how to map a skin to an object with texture.
It can be used by anyone but it's particularly useful to professionals who need all the features. It has been around over 20-years so it's robust and mature.
The only drawback is the cost, so after my paid subscription expires, I'll be returning to Blender.
The best thing about 3ds Max is that its user interface is not cluttered like other similar tools. It has a huge user community and a plenty tutorials out there.
The 3ds Max interface is intimidating and takes a little longer to learn to use.
This software allows me to proceed quicker and better than with others, allowing me to finish my project in the stablished time I have. The workflow is smooth and results great.
It's sometimes really difficult to track an error. You can be puzzled for days if you don't know what you did wrong.
All tool & 3d rendering is nice and perfect for work in the project.
It confused me at the beginning, but then I started to understand it once I used it more.
From animations for small websites to feature film, Max can handle it and many of the top tier movies you know and love were made with it. It's power can't be overestimated.
With 3ds Max you can easily create complex 3d models and maps. Best suited for architectural and game rendering that requires premium graphics.
It is very user friendly, not so hard to learn like other softwares, and for its price it can offer more than other similar softwares that are more expensive.
I am fascinated by the results that can be achieved with this software, it is very customizable down to the smallest detail, without a doubt I was quite surprised.
The software is also well-supported by a vast online community of users, providing helpful tutorials and resources.
Quality is unmatched.3rd party software integration is available.
I find this software very adaptive to architectural modeling. It is very easy to integrate your autoCAD files containing your buildings plan, and you can easily model the construction with accuracy.
I really like it, but I wish it would cost a lot less.

Planner 5d offers an outstanding and impressive amount of textures and styles and customization to every aspect of the design of you plans.
Even if you cancel through their app, they will completely disregard it and still charge you through Apple subscriptions.
Its user-friendly interface and extensive range of features ensured a delightful and seamless experience as I brought my interior design concepts to life with stunning realism.
I paid and in 5 minutes requested for refund as it is impossible to do my work. They refused to do this.
It's easy to use, and it has all the features you need to create beautiful and sustainable designs. It's perfect for both experienced designers and those who are just getting started in the field.
Tried canceling several times. They make that very difficult.
Overall, it’s a great product and the customer service department has been quick and great to give answers/ solutions.
There's not too much to worry about, expect not many items in non-premium but your imagination can still soar.
It was free, which was awesome. It was pretty easy to use.
My experience has been wonderful so far with this app.
Overall just awesome and the customer support Mr. Kyle helped me so much and very quick support.
If you are a E-Designer this is the perfect 3D interior design program.
As mentioned above, they amount of useful information not only about software but interior design in general.
It's helping me with many ideas and thoughts I need to apply it in my house and I need to invest more time on it.
I used the app when redesigning and replanning my apartment. It helped a lot with visualization and saved my time and money.
While straightforward and easy to use--90s software style--the best feature is the ability to switch from 2D to 3D. But that benefit is drowned out by the cons.
