Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

ARC overview
What is ARC?
ARC is cloud-based care management software built exclusively for Ofsted-regulated children's residential homes in England operating under the Children's Homes Regulations 2015. Daily journals, incident tracking, safeguarding, and Regulation 40, 44, and 45 workflows are held in one connected record per young person, covering the full timeline of events and entries alongside care plans, goals, keywork, contact logs, and wishes and feelings. Shift handover is compiled automatically from activity logged during the shift rather than re-typed at the end of it. Incidents remain open until formally resolved and signed off. Regulation 40 notifications are raised at incident review, tracked per recipient with a 24-hour overdue clock, and exported as a compiled PDF for Ofsted submission. Regulation 44 independent visit records are tracked against monthly due dates, and Regulation 45 quality of care reports are compiled from data already entered in the record, with manager sign-off and a full audit trail. All data is hosted in the UK on Amazon EC2 and Amazon RDS. Role-restricted access, an append-only audit trail on every record, and a signed data processing agreement are included as standard. AI-generated advisory drafts are included in all plans at no extra charge; young person data is de-identified before inference, and processing is UK-only and audited.
Pricing is published per home, banded by number of registered beds (1-3, 4-6, 7+), with unlimited staff accounts at every tier. There is no setup fee, no migration fee, and no minimum contract. Onboarding, training, and record migration are included in the monthly price. Combined billing is available for groups of homes at published per-home rates, making ARC suited to both independent single-home providers and multi-home operators.
