Autodesk DWG TrueView is a free, standalone Windows desktop application for opening, viewing, plotting, and converting DWG and DXF files. Built on the same viewing engine as AutoCAD, it delivers full-fidelity rendering of 2D and 3D drawings without requiring an AutoCAD license. The application supports DWG version conversion forward and backward across releases as far back as AutoCAD Release 14, and exports drawings to DWF, DWFx, PDF, JPG, and PNG formats. It is compatible with files originating from AutoCAD, Revit, and Fusion 360, and integrates optionally with Autodesk Design Review for 2D and 3D markup workflows. The application is read-only and does not support modifying or saving drawing files.
