Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

BackupDrill overview
What is BackupDrill?
BackupDrill is a cloud-based, managed backup and restore-verification service built exclusively for Supabase cloud-hosted projects. It snapshots a project's Postgres database via pg_dump and, optionally, its Supabase Storage files in a single coordinated snapshot, writing all data directly to a user-owned S3-compatible bucket (Cloudflare R2, AWS S3, or Backblaze B2). No backup data is stored on vendor infrastructure. A checksummed manifest (sha256) is written alongside each dump to support integrity verification. The backup engine is an open-source MIT-licensed CLI available at github.com/backupdrill/cli, which can also be used in self-managed or GitHub Actions-based workflows. BackupDrill does not support self-hosted Supabase deployments.
The platform's core differentiator is scheduled restore drills. On a configured cadence, the latest snapshot is downloaded into an isolated temporary sandbox, a temporary Postgres instance is provisioned, pg_restore is executed, and the result is verified against the manifest. Verification checks include archive sha256 integrity, pg_restore completion status, table count, non-empty populated table validation, and sampled sha256 checks on Storage files when included. Wall-clock restore time is measured and reported, producing a concrete recovery time objective (RTO) figure. The sandbox and temporary instance are destroyed after each drill. Results are delivered by email as a PDF report, and backup-failure alerts notify operators rather than silently logging errors.
BackupDrill targets individual developers, small development teams, SaaS builders, web application developers, and digital agencies managing multiple client Supabase projects. Plans scale from a free tier (one project, weekly backups, restore drill on first backup) through Solo ($19/month, five projects, daily backups, weekly drills), Team ($49/month, twenty projects, daily backups, weekly drills), and Agency ($99/month, up to 100 projects, daily backups, weekly drills, client-ready PDF reports). A 30-day full-feature trial is available with no credit card required.
