Briefmatic is a cloud-based, web-based shipping label solution for small Etsy and Kasuwa sellers in Germany. It generates Deutsche Post Internetmarken and DHL parcel labels by parsing forwarded order confirmation emails, extracting recipient names, addresses, and order numbers automatically. No Etsy API connection, API keys, or shop backend access is required. Setup takes approximately two minutes via email forwarding configuration. Labels are created through the seller's own Portokasse or DHL business account, with no per-label transaction fees or postage markup applied by the platform.

Supported Deutsche Post products include Kompaktbrief, Grossbrief, Maxibrief, and Warensendung up to 1,000g and 2,000g. DHL Paket and DHL Kleinpaket label creation is available on the Pro plan (currently in beta), with DHL address validation, Packstation and branch address recognition including Postnummer, and DHL return label support. Bulk label creation covers up to 30 shipments at once, with all labels compiled into a single downloadable PDF. Tracking numbers are stored per order and copied to the clipboard when marking a shipment as shipped in Etsy. Briefmatic is hosted on German servers (Netcup) and is designed for DSGVO compliance: an AVV contract is included, credentials and address data are encrypted with AES-256, forwarded email raw data is deleted after 7 days, address data is deleted after 30 days, and PDF labels are streamed and never stored on the platform. Pricing starts at 0 EUR/month (Free tier: 10 labels), 2.99 EUR/month (Starter: 50 labels, Portokasse balance display, saved default shipping products), and 4.99 EUR/month (Pro: unlimited labels, bulk creation, DHL features, invoice generator).
