Caira overview
What is Caira?
Caira is practice software for psychotherapists, counsellors and social workers in Canada. Instead of juggling a notes tool, a calendar, a payments app and a folder of intake forms, a therapist runs the practice from one record, with AI across it.
Before each session, a brief brings together what was agreed last time, current homework, recent check-ins and how questionnaire scores have moved. After the session, Caira drafts a progress note in SOAP, DAP, BIRP, PIE or a custom template from a recording, a voice memo or typed notes, and the clinician reviews and signs it. Between sessions, clients use a private portal to check in, complete questionnaires, sign consents, message, book and pay.
Caira is built for Canadian privacy law: records are stored in Canada, every access is logged, and AI runs under a signed health-data agreement with zero data retention. Plans start at $29 CAD a month, with a 14-day free trial and no card required.
