Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Ceviche overview
What is Ceviche?
Ceviche is a cloud-based SaaS fund expense allocation platform designed for finance teams and controllers at private equity, venture capital, credit, and real estate firms operating multi-entity structures. Positioned between AP and expense tools and the general ledger, Ceviche ingests invoices and card transactions from AP systems, applies LPA-based allocation rules line by line, splits costs across the management company, GP, funds, SPVs, blockers, and feeders, and posts finished journal entries directly back to the GL. It is not a fund administrator, managed service, or payment system; the controller operates it.
Ceviche digitizes each fund agreement's expense policy into structured controls covering caps, thresholds, exclusions, and entity eligibility, enforced at allocation time to prevent ineligible expenses from reaching a fund's ledger. Legal invoices in LEDES format are ingested and split at the line level, with each line landing on the correct entity even when a single invoice mixes multiple methodologies. Intercompany due-to and due-from entries generate automatically across all covered entities. Finished journal entries post directly to QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct with no rekeying. AP integrations cover Ramp, Brex, Bill.com, Expensify, and SAP Concur. Every allocation record retains its source document, methodology, LPA basis, and approver; dated snapshots preserve the rules in force at posting time. Fund invoicing runs monthly or quarterly with vendor invoices and receipts attached, and an aging report surfaces past-due fund invoices. The platform is SOC 2 Type 2 certified, with data encrypted at rest and in transit and stored in the United States.
Ceviche targets lean finance teams whose GL and fund administrator are already in place but whose shared-cost allocation remains manual. Onboarding completes in three to four weeks with no separate implementation fee, and pricing is not based on AUM, user count, or transaction volume. The existing AP stack, GL, and fund administrator remain unchanged. AI assists by drafting invoice header fields and line items and can suggest splits based on past allocations, but all splits derive from deterministic rules configured and approved by the finance team, and every number that posts to the GL traces back to a human approval.
